The Magnus Lens gives a lowly being the power of a deity. You've acquired it just in time, too, as a horde of enemies is swarming in on your newly-acquired followers.
Look through the Lens, Smite the enemy, and Bless your followers.
Controls are mouse to control the lens, mouse-click to cast your current spell (if you have a charge available). Space bar switches back and forth between Smite and Bless.
Bless heals a random follower unit being looked at through the lens and gives them a temporary boost to their accuracy.
Smite kills a random enemy unit being looked at through the lens.

Smiting enemies is very satisfying. Very good game, high score for innovation. I only wish the little men kept fighting rather than walking past each other and hanging out at the end of the board.
Hi there. Really like your God-game mechanic with the scrying orb/ magnifying glass. Cool to put instructions there as well. Nice mechanic. The strategy aspects suffers a bit from the 'Halma' problem - once units have passed each other then its just a race... no 'problems' to sort out any more... Really good job - more development maybe, unit types ?
Excellent game, I love it! It's very fun to play (5/5), the magnifying glass is working flawlessly and it is brilliant idea. Wonderful! :)
It's adorable! Though I can't seem to stop myself from scrunching my eyes, like it'll help me see the wee things.
Cool! Love the sound when you smite enemies, feels good man! Hope to see you expanding this game with more units and such! :)
Very good. Feels like it would work better with a battle royal where the minion seek each other out rather than just march forward. But a neat little title all the same.
I dig it! Really cool interpretation of the theme, simple but elegant mechanics. Quite fun!
Fun concept, love the way you read the instructions.
I couldnt find any people to interact with, but I like the concept! I Included it in part 8 of my Ludum Dare 31 compilation video series, if you would like to check it out :) http://youtu.be/Z4bPWwSnLLA
I just now realized a few post-competition tweaks I was experimenting with accidentally got published to my compo version because I forgot to change a folder name. The changes were extremely minor, and to the best of my knowledge, only 3 or 4 people played on this version, but in the interest of fairness, I feel I need to admit that this happened. The original compo version is back, now, but I apologize profusely for any confusion in the meantime.
I played it again! :) I Included it in part 9 of my Ludum Dare 31 compilation video series, if you would like to check it out :) http://youtu.be/08ofw2klihI
Nice effect of the magnifying glass, It's hard to play, but you stick to the theme quite well
Wow, what a cute way to reconsider the god game! Through this viewpoint, it all seems awfully arbitrary... :] I didn't find any bugs or even anything that really needs a change, especially given the limited scope of these competitions--it's a very easy game to understand, and your conveyance is great--but if you have some more time next time, adding multiple SFX variants per effect would help a bit with the experience, I think.
Very satisfying experience. Thank you for the game!
I am not sure I want to know how one could come up with such an idea... I like it a lot, and it's well made but it's totally random :)

I liked the mechanic and smiting is fun, but healing the blue units would make more sense if the units actually sought each other out.
Very nice take on the theme and interesting mechanic! I think the reloading time for the attack is a bit too short, because you actually can spam these attacks to kill all the enemies.
Very simple, yet also unique, fun, and just pretty interesting! No issues with it at all, easy to understand and play. Great job!
This is one the best interpretation of the theme I have seen! The game is really cool, though not that difficult. Difficulty level only add more minion on board, but doesn't really give an advantage at the enemy.
Love it!

TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
Cool mechanic with the magnifying glass, I did find the gameplay a little confusing though. Still, cool stuff!
