Hi there. Does what it says on the tin. Good job, sound effects quite harsh if you've left volume on high... Pots and cats... nice...
Repeated 3 themes over and over for me, sound tops out, not really a game.
Uh.
Well, is it a game? Does this fits the theme really? Don't know..
You should have wrote more theme, since there's like, just this in your game.. It's just always the same themes popping which makes it not really fun. Too bad cause the idea is funny.
It could have been cool if it was always a new theme for super long and it feels infinite (we'd stop playing before having 2 times the same theme)
Although, there's some good jokes ("I'm in", lol), but if you tell me "I'm in" 6 times, I won't laugh at the 6th time.
The thing in itself feels nice (I like the comments popping. Fun.), but it's not interactive so much (would need more stuff than just the basic generator) but it just, could have been way better, and.. does it fit the theme anyway? Aint sure.
Now I want the next LD theme to be "Submit a game" ^^
Nice, good for some laughs :D
You should have go deeper in your concept, I am pretty sure that you can make a real game with that idea (I remember that someone have made a game were the player was... A Ludum Dare competitor and the goal was to... Make a game before the deadline).
Or, at least, add a lot more choices in the random list. ;)
@regisRquoi @LeReveur: It isn't really meant to be something serious. Just my reaction on this LD's theme pinned down.
Thanks for your effort to give me constructive criticism, but I don't think I did put enough work in it to be good for more than just some giggles.
side note: the rating members seems to be very strong this time, I haven't even rated a game, yet already have 14 votes
Too bad it had few options :( the funniest part is that everybody liked the theme!
The themes are rather true to the typical Ludum Dare theme. Instead of voting in #LD32 perhaps we could use this next time.
Gameplay was hard to learn, no tutorial, hard controls...The boss was too hard (Talking nonsense, comedic and funny entry!)
The music is awesome!
I can't wait for those Ludum Dares. :)
I liked the animation of the quotes.
It's funny, and the graphics and sounds fit very well. Surprisingly fun to press the button and see the result. Good job!
I'm not sure what happened here. I can't find one thing good from any of the voting categories. Inspiration unfortunately isn't a category. :'(
Gahaha. I love how it's a subtle jab at LD by actually including real themes (Potatoes and Kittens, Entire Games on One Screen) as well as the satirical ones.
Not a game, but it's really funny.
A good idea... It may never be a "game" but if you had a lot more themes, I would click till LD354! Even now I clicked a lot to be sure I had seen all available "themes"! :)
looks like somebody didn't like this Ludum Dare's theme. ;)
Still, thanks for the laughs!
It's not all that random? I'm only seeing about 4-5 different themes. And most of them would't survive the slaughter :P
That's two scratch games I've seen this LD. Can't wait to show my son. Can't wait for the I'm a Banana theme :)
Wow. Such Ideas. Much Clever. How Sarcasm. Very Themes. Wow
@you: Please note that this crappy rant about the theme is not meant to be taken seriously. Just me experimenting a bit.
If it made you giggle a bit, than it did more than it meant to be :)
So yes it's just a raging ...mmm... thing :/ But you could have been fun or satirical ... Hope you didn't loose too much time on that !
@bobombe: "you could have been fun or satirical"
- if it doesn't seem for you to be, it doesn't mean it isn't. It means you've another perception or I told it badly.
(thing is that I can't really see which themes you got trough the random factor)
There are definitively some filler themes I throw in there (as "Ludum Dare Theme"), but also some satirical ones (e.g. "Submit a game" being equally inspiring in mood and setting as "Entire Game on One Screen").
I'm not very secure at satire to be honest, it's quite different to amuse a crowd than some friends you know. The game was a challenge so I get more secure with it.
Pretty cute, sorta-vaguely amusing. I wish there were a bigger variety of funny themes and responses, since its really the only thing this pseudo-game has going on really, lol.
@ArcturusDeluxe: Thanks for the extra words, helps me a bit to figure things out and get better :)

TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
