To reset a ship and empty its cargo, select it and press "Return to Hangar".
First steps (for example):
1. Buy two ships
2. Buy an outpost that offers Pigs.
3. Select a ship and create a path.
4. Click in the moon with the outpost and then click in the big planet. Confirm.
5. Earn money and explore more planets to create new commerce paths.

Looks absolutely stunning. Seriously. Didn't know what to do though.
Whaaaa, those gorgeous graphics. Just wow! Very well done, solid gameplay and a lovely mood all around. I could spend quite a lot of time on this! Very well done!
Only improvement I could think of was some variations in music.
Nice game with good graphics and sound - well done!
Unfortunately, I'm a bad "Star Tycoon"... I didn't get far and was raided by evil space pirates ;-)
Thanks for comments. The music is always a big problem, because we dont have a musician at the time, we will try to improve that part in the future ;-)
Nice mood ! But I couldn't figure out what to do after having assigned a path to my ship, I think we lack some explanations to fully get into the game
Sorry for the problems, Terrabalt, when you have a moment can you send me some information about the crash? mechanicmoonstudio@gmail.com
SiMouth, I have posted some instructions to begin, if you have more doubts, ask me without problem ;-)
Great game. I was a bit lost at the beginning, but once I understood what to do the game was fantastic. 1kk gold! I am rich :D
I love the music, its calming and soothing, and it suits this game perfectly well. The only problem I saw so far is the clicking on the ship and the pirate ship message issue. Other than that, this is a pretty nice game to waste your time on.
Bugs found so far:
- The pirate space ship, on the second raid (second time attacked), they showed the same message of your previous action, like if you have paid 2000, it will show the same message again. Maybe you forgot to reset it?
- Clicking on ships that are stacked together (very close to each other) will spawn all their info boxes.
Really cool graphics and gameplay, however, I bought every outpost within 10 minutes... Should be a bit more difficult probably
Yeah, thanks for the comments xxmicloxx ,Tanner and KigurumiDevs. We must consider this as a prototype. Maybe in the future the game could be expanded. It depends of your votes ;-)
Nichii I will try to do a fix for the pirates problem, thanks!!
Great game!
Very awesome graphics and a interesting gameplay.
Maybe this is because of my Internet or my pc but this game lags ... this makes me sad but in the end its a great Jam-game!!!
Another tycoon game :P I made a tycoon game as well. It took me a while to figure out what to do in the beginning, have to read the descriptions in this post. After getting used to it, it gets better. I raided by the pirated tho :( Would be nice to have a button to speed up the game speed because waiting for money to come is a bit boring. Overall nice job!
All hail the 3 eyed space pigs!
I really liked the graphic style, but felt a bit lost concerning the mechanics.
This game is an overkill for a ludumdare. I can see lot of work behind this. I hope you finish and publish this game. It fits wells on mobile platforms. Good job.
Great game :)
I failed badly the first time after being raided by pirates and having 4 ships on the same route until I was buying for more than I was selling for, and losing money.
The second time I maxed out easily, and would have loved to have more to do.
Good graphics and gameplay! The trade system is easyer to understand than mine, but the path can be simplified by drag and drop. Well polished game.
Thanks for the "comment" on my game... Interesting game, definitely takes some getting use to. Looks good.
Currently my ship is flying back and forth between a planet and an outpost. I am making large sums of money, but the interface seems frozen as I am unable to buy more outposts or ships. Using Win 7, latest Chrome, 2.4ghz i5, 8gb RAM.
bobrock, what version are you playing? html5 or windows? Can you remember what were the last action that you did? Maybe were you attacked by pirates?
Thanks for the feedback!!
HTML5, I was attacked by pirates but I paid them off. There is a purple ship flying around, though. Maybe that has something to do with it?
The only part of the interface that is working is the grid toggle. I'll try again after dinner with my family this evening. I find myself really wanting to play more... haha
Yes,there is a known bug with pirates, tomorrow will study it to try to solve again, thanks for test it!
I played the web version and there were a lot of things cut off...have to test the windows version in the next days. I like the cartoony graphics.
I have updated the game removing the pirates event due to the bug :-( . They will be again inside the game for the post-ludum version and we will add more events too. ;-)
I played the game till i reach 25o k moneyunits and achieved all outposts. It's a solid experience. I miss some kind of enema or opponent though - I liked that the prices of buys and sells did vary quite a bit - but in the end my ships were always able to make profits. Graphics and Sound both were not AMAZING but fitted the game pretty well. However the game seems pretty finished and polished for an 72 hour competitiongame - i tap my hat. :)
Love this type of games. Incredibly polish. You did a really good job here.
It's a little bit confusing to grasp what to do, but with some tutorials, I could see myself wasting away hours with this game. Really clean and nice looking graphics, hope to see you develop it further, great job!
By the end I was making 30k on pigs each run. Shame you removed events cos there's really no challenge after that. O noticed what might be a bug if you max out your hangar upgrade the planet image reverts back to level 1.
Beautiful art! What a pity I didn't play the version with the pirates in it, as I became the king of the system without any kind of trouble.
This is well made. I like the concept, the controls are solid, the animations are solid, and the audio is solid. Had fun just collecting resources.
A good economic game. Even with the tutorial, it's a bit hard to figure out--I think it'd help if there was more in-game explanation.
Was pretty hard to start but working fine when I figured it out. Considering the fact that you even put the gif I assume more people had trouble? :) Nice entry
Ummm the title screen and start screen got me excited about it, music not bad. But then, when I tried to play the game, I couldn't seem to do anything!
Took me a sec to figure out how to play, but it was great once i got the hang of it. Very nice graphics, great job!
danidre14 Did you see the the top-left corner button? You can buy ships and then click in the ship and create a path between planets to buy a product in the first one, and sell it in the second planet. Try again, and ask me for help if you have any problem ;-)
Wow, nice game. Good idea!
Nice use of theme, and really great art style, suit very well with the proposed.
It was difficult to start play, but after I found the list of what to to, was easy.
I think this game is really good, it would be fun to see multiplayer. Do you have plans to keep developing it?
ninjascript, It depends of your votes. Our last three games in LD were part of the same universe: Hidden Prison, Tentacle Rails and this. You can think about it ;-)
The audio and graphics are some of the best I've seen so far! Mechanics took me a while to understand (I just jumped into the game and came back to read the description). Very impressive game. Great job!
Kind of confusing. I enjoyed nonetheless, thanks for making. (graphics looked amazing)
Try to read the descriptionof the game, now I cant change the game, because the rules of LD.
Nice and simple simulation game. The mechanic is fun and the graphics are quite good. I did not read the tutorails so I stuck a bit at the beginning. But once I figured it out, I like it!
A good simulator game, great graphics and a enjoyable mechanics and game system. When I started to play I feeled a bit confused, but soon I was trading and building like a Star Tycoon.
well polished game. I bit tricky to get into and I wish there was a little more clarity on what my ships were doing, but I enjoyed the game overall.
Played the version without space pirates. I took a while to understand how trade routes worked, but finally made tons of money after a while :P
Nice graphics and music :)
Really nice! Great setting, great artwork, like this game a lot. So cute!
Complex game, with neat graphics and soothing music. A bit difficult to play unless you read the instructions. Very interesting gameplay and literal take on the theme. Well done!!
We have updated the game with some fixes:
- A crash relative to the economy changes in planets.
- Pirates have been reintroduced, but we need some feedback, if somebody has crashes, please report it!
One of the best entries I've seen. Gameplay feels a bit slow, it would be nice to be able to speed it up - unless you're going for a grind-heavy mobile game / pay gems to speed it up feel :)
Nice game with great graphics. Mechanics are difficult to understand. I got 3 ships, tried to do routes but it seemed that only one planet was allowed, having outposts everywhere but I don't understand what for...tried to upgrade hangar when having 3 ships and couldn't do it. So said, I believe it is a great effort that needs some fine tune and in-game instructions to be an awesome game.
i didn`t figure out how to do what. looks interesstion thou. You might consider a little more tutoreial.
Great graphic and interesting idea. The gameplay is really deep for only this amount of time. One suggestion is that in some cases, you should use more contextual menu and less modal windows cause it breaks the flow a bit imho.
I couldn't confirm a path to fly to a planet. The button didn't work.
Did you select two planets to do the path? First one (buy a product) - Second planet to sell the product.
Nice job. I didn't get how to set the routes at first then figured it out and got 100k in a few minutes XD
Amazing job on graphics !! Nice concept, well executed ! Congrats
Fun game. I struggled with the UI a little but overall I had fun with it. The presentation and audio were nice aswell.
Does the game have a winning condition? Sometimes when I clicked my hangar I couldn't click anything anymore and had to restart the game.
It's a little annoying that the planet windows can leave the game screen. It would be nice to have a tutorial ingame that follows your description. I could do many things that didn't make any sense e.g. pay pirates money I don't have, return to hanger even though I had no money, make a trade path where I try to sell a ressource which the planet doesn't accept.
I would like to see where you can go with this if you fix the bugs and give a clear goal.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you want to place in the final results, you NEED votes. The easiest way to get votes is by rating other games. Judging lasts for 3 weeks following the end of Ludum Dare. For best effect, rate 20 games as soon as possible. Rating more games is encouraged.
MORE TIPS AND DETAILS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE
TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up.
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
Interesting idea, some of the best graphics I've seen so far.
