I've played antichamber, but can't get through the eye xD I played that game very long time ago, and I'm not patient yet, but seems nice game
It's your first contribution for LD. Bravo. But it seems to me you don't know the rules - my friend. If you share a "48 Hour Compo Entry" you MUST share the sources too. See the rules. It's not a criticisme - I like your game, but rules work for all of us ++
pretty nice imitation of antichamber.
Is there more after the eye, though? like, I looked at it, then the passage opens behind me; i go in the passage and go around and end up at the eye again. I tried going counterclockwise and clockwise and still end up in the same spot.
Got to the colored hallways - very nice use of Antichamber style logic, if a bit repetitive
Pretty good replication of some of the mecanics.
I dont see how someone would pass the eye part without having played antichamber since there's no animation on it.
Also, I suggest you try and give a better name to your game next Ludum Dare.
Good job again on your first LD!
sprawl : thanks, you reminded me how to get through the eye :D really, it was easier in the antichamber, but this game is still very cool
Nice basis for a maze-exploration game. I like the background sounds.
So I read the name "Like Antichamber" and rushed to play it. Then I remembered I was on Linux.
I'll play it later.
Good game like the similarity with anti chamber .
I would it if it's alittle bit more sensitive to the mouse it get's messy with me sometimes :D
I like the Antichamber and also the Like the Antichamber. Good job!
Possibly there is some sort of glitch in the web version, after the 'COME BACK' part when falling down the pit my screen tinted and the game was stuck. I enjoyed it while it lasted though, I really liked Antichamber and this is a nice tribute
very nice dont know if the blue screen after solving the come back ridle is the end but I take it as the end :)
I haven't played Antichamber before, so I found this challenging and fun. It's a very cool concept. This does look quite similar to Antichamber though (and the name confirms that), would be even better if you added your own flavour to it :)
Trippy game. I enjoyed the non euclidean (is that the word?) gameplay. Confused me several times and I'm not sure if it was because I was doing it wrong or whether it was bugging out. Good game, would go well with some music and more content. Congratulations on it being you're first LD entry, mine was so much worse than this. Nice one!
I can't get past the "come back", but the non euclidian room with the pillar in the middle is overused, I found it kinda repetitive
I adore antichamber and have played through it all. You did a really good job in capturing the fun from antichamber and putting a new touch. Well done implementing this, from a technical point of view, very non-trivial I would say.
Yes, I found the exit! The eye really had me for a long time, and to anyone how couldn't get past, my hint is to really consider what the sign on the wall says before rushing around. The other puzzles were clever and took some tries but I had them easier since I played antichamber a lot.
Graphics like antichamber. Some doors popping visible when in the view, but I can bear with you - even the original anti chamber sometimes had these problems.
Audio did it's job in a simplistic way. Kind of bad looping, but still good.
Theme connection was a bit weak, although you have the connections between "chambers" I wouldn't really call them worlds.
Overall, most fun game I played so far, and I really hope you will find the passion to develop more puzzles for this.
@TheExGenesis I also thought the euclidian room was overused, until I realized it's because I'm running around in circles. The comeback puzzle is different.
@komjaur I would really support you if you would extend this with more types of puzzles. If you can think of puzzles which are different from antichamber but still keeps the same feeling, it would be a great way of making this game more unique. That would be legendary!
euclidian room is like death in games, when you die you start over but here you go back to the beginning.
... Kind of just makes me want to go play antichamber. It is impressive you managed to do all the things they did though, I still have no idea how that works!
Nice ! remember me a lot a friend game https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G08WP2EUvU0 with some difference in the universe / mecanic and more step by step instruction, i love it :)
A little rough around the edges, but a very good Antichamber-like game! Non-euclidean puzzlers are the best!
Abit too much like antichamber, would be fun if there was something new
I remember other game like this but don't remeber name :D (Probably that antichamber:D) Still really hard and tricky i like it :D!
Awesome work i enjoyed antichamber and enjoyed this too.
Got to the end : )
Fun game! For the web version, it would help if you locked the cursor. Good work for such a short time period!
Would be nice if there was a restart button so you didn't have to refresh the web page when you got to a dead end.
Found the end and enjoyed exploring. Short but satisfying.
The Mouse won't stay in the game window ... made it horrible to play. Even on fullscreen I was fucked by my dual monitor setup.
The game pretty much looks like AntiChamber but I don't think it feels like AntiChamber. Maybe I was too stupid to progress but I always ended up in similar rooms with different colors and went then back the the eye. Turning around just cought me in an infinite loop.
I wasn't able to finish and after like 8 colors I stopped, because of the mouse cursor issue. Looks fine but isn't really innovative, since it's an attempt to rebuild another game (on a smaller scale).
I ended up doing a lot of loops before I stopped. Really cool stuff, although the part with having to stare at the eye gets a bit annoying. Haven't played Antichamber, but having seen screens of it you seem to have gotten the name right for this game ;-)
Seconding the problem with cursor not locking in the game screen in the webplayer.
I wouldn't have waited long enough never If I hadn't read the instructions :P
Nice recreation of antichamber!
Controls were clunky and slow. Puzzles were basically ripped straight from Antichamber. There was a washing machine going in the background the whole time, for... some reason.
"Like Antchamber", but less charming, less clever, less mind-bending, and less original.
The ending was tricky!
Great copy of a game that i loved there is still some visual bug, but the transition are mostly perfect. It's not original but your level could be passed like that inside AntiChamber.
Thanks for the hint! ;)
Definitely seems like a less polished version of antichamber at first, but seemed to get repetitive with no guidance on how to solve a few things. Not bad for 48 hours though.
I really liked how the puzzles were riddles. And the minimalist style. Great job!
Liked the idea...felt a bit too trial and error rather than being driven by riddles. Top effort though
I did something around the eye and it broke! I like the start though!
Nice game! Some times unclear what to do but I guess that's part of it. Also often the puzzle is given away cuz of seams in the walls.
AAAAA I can't escape the infinite loops! Nice tribute to Antichamber.
Found the ending! ;) Damned fine replica of Anitchamber. Great work. :D
Eye needed an animation, good imitation of antichamber though.
Not bad! It took me a while to find the ending though. lol
I said I would be back, so here I am.
I got to the ending. Pretty nice game, really captures the ambiance of the original Antichamber. Breaking out of the "Unity look" is always great.
But damn it, that last comment was supposed to be a hint to make a Linux build.
Made linux and mac build but i have no idea if they work.
if anyone can confirm if they work please comment.
I clicked because I thought it looked rather like Antichamber, though I think maybe this was a bit TOO much like Antichamber! Still, nice effort.
Fun and enjoyable. But it seems like I am not patient enough. I enjoyed anti-chamber a lot, btw.
very interesting! I love antichamber and using it as your inspiration has definitely helped! Nice entry
I have no idea how I found the ending but I did. Very cool. Reminds me of myst or something.
Well yeah - i like antichamber a lot myself - however i'd wish for a bit more diversity to the original. It feels more like a my bestof of antichamber. However - nice take on the theme in any way. And it IS pretty true to the original. :)
I didn't get through to the end, but I did get through a lot of different colored hallways.
I like the idea, it was a bit repetitive though (But I might have been doing something wrong) - I loved the background sound it added a nice feel to the game.
Nice game, but should it be possible to walk trough the wall in front of the eye? Because if you look straight at the eye and keep walking backwards you will glitch trough the wall

Interseting concept, but I don't think I really "got" it. I kept getting stuck in the blue room and got back to the white eye all the time. Nice work on the mood though, quite creepy!
I don't understand the "come back" part... haha I got caught up in the loop. W seems buggy because after I go through the eye a few times I automatically go forward even when I'm not pressing W.
Nice little puzzle game, couldn't get very far but I'm gonna try again tomorrow when I'm not so tired. Enjoying it so far!
Kinda creepy (good thing), but it was always hard to figure out how to progress and I got stuck :(
Liked it. Got to the ending. Pretty good puzzles, overall. Nice job for 48 hours for sure.
Reminds me a lot of antichamber - but I feel the eye puzzle was a bit more confusing than it should have been. Nice work though - would have been great to see the game become a bit longer!
Very cool, I got to the ending, how? I was playing while chatting on facebook, one time I changed tabs and I moved the camera randomly, when I came back I was looking at sign I've never seen before, the rest was easy.
I tried it a second time and managed to understand what I was supposed to do, but if it wasn't for chance, i'd still be running in loops right now.
Interesting concept! I never played antichamber but after this I might have to check it out. I like you use of environmental sounds.
Also, I found the ending.
I have played Antichamber before until its end and this game really remind me of the experience. Very well done, I am really interested in knowing how you achieved it. Maybe try to lower the amount of time it takes for the eye thing, you know ;) but very well done! amazing considering that was your first entry ever!!
It was interesting, but yes, very similar to antichamber. I have a couple of notes: sometimes the trick you're using to reveal the exist is very noticable (I'm pretty sure in antichamber they actually use world portals to the different areas); and I still didn't figure out what the meaning of the eye puzzle was, but just by looking back and forth I got it to work.
Nice Antichamber clone! Is there any connection to the "connected worlds" theme?
Great concept and visuals. I found myself getting lost, and going back to the beginning :D
You are in todays episode of Ludum Dare to Believe! Check it out! - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p6HuW2Ag0sA
I found the end! If I didn't see the comments here first though, I'd have assumed I'd seen all there was too see. Pretty cool puzzle game! Unfortunately I don't know how much of it was original and how much was inspired by Antichamber because I've never played it.
Staring at that eye sucked a lot of the fun out.
I believe you could fix some of the graphical glitches by moving vertices of walls instead of changing the visibility of wall sections. Still, it was cool to see that you made Unity behave as if it was non-Euclidean! Kudos!
I'm posting a comment, because the game told me to.
It really is a lot like antichamber, that is good, because antichamber is good, but it is also bad, because it doesn't feel original. Still, judged on its own merit it isn't bad.
The ambient music is not really fitting, but it also doesn't distract too much so it's okay.
Walking backwards helped a lot with most of the puzzles (and I think caused some glitches).
@klianc09 if didnt fell into the endless void then everything went alright. :D
It's always interesting to explore a non-euclidean labyrinth. The Antichamber vibe is very obvious, but I'm not sure what triggers the eye here, I just kept pushing the wall with my back until it allowed me to pass through.

Little secrets:
*eye is not like it was in antichamber. If u look it 5 second then loop room door opens and if u look it 10 second then other door opens.
* Don't go to colored rooms
Pretty nice, if just a subset of Antichamber concepts/puzzles.
Nice game! You can clearly see where you took the idea from. Also there where a few graphical bugs. I found the eye thing to be breaking the pace a lot (Half of the time would have been enough. Btw I got to the ending.
While the game is a bit confusing it is actually very fun and has some great uses of the first person camera angle. A very enjoyable game through and through

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you want to place in the final results, you NEED votes. The easiest way to get votes is by rating other games. Judging lasts for 3 weeks following the end of Ludum Dare. For best effect, rate 20 games as soon as possible. Rating more games is encouraged.
MORE TIPS AND DETAILS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE
TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up.
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
make a web version, it will spare peoples time and more people will play
