You are alone in abandoned mine, trying to stay alive.
The idea behind this game is you control a player that is trying to survive in a hostile mine shaft, constantly running out of health, fighting enemies. Player would collect resources and sell it for better equipment.

Looks cool, but i cant jump, and there are places in which you can get stuck completely
I like the lighting effects. The music sets the mood nicely. I can't wait to see what you do with this game.
Solid entry ! I really like the visuals (especially the lightning and the character), it reminds me Minecraft :) Great gameplay, you did a really good job !
Lovely graphics, would make a great game with some more work! :)
Wow. Amazing entry. One of my favourites :D
Too bad you didnt finish it :)
Absolute loved the concept, and would LOVE to play this game with the elements you mentioned you want to add. Loved the use of lighting, was very satisfying to dig down and have a tunnel suddenly appear. Looks reallly nice, and would get an almost perfect rating from me if there was more content. I Really hope you continue to work on it. If you don't I'm going to steal your idea!
Thank you guys. I did not expect such a positive feedback. I am working on a post LD version, that will hopefully deliver promised functionality.
So I played and rated this a couple days ago, and can't get it out of my head! I really want to make a clone of this, but know that I would be really upset if someone did that to me.
If you ever abandon this idea, or are ok with me making something similar, PLEASE let me know @DarkMeatGames.
Keep up the good work, yo!
Really cool idea and presentation, would like to see a finished version!
Too bad you didn't finish it, you've come up with a great look for it & I'd love to play it again if you ever do go back and finish it.
Great graphics, but I couldn't jump, and fell out of the world on the bottom. Besides the few bugs, it was a great atmosphere. I love the FEZ style world!
Very nice looking game. I would like to play it when you have had a bit more time to develop it.
Hey congrats on your first LD!
You did a good job setting up the fundation of a game here. I like the 2d/3d art
I liked the rotation of the game, It will be nice to have a post-compo version.
the game FEELS really good to where I was actually disappointed to not be able to keep playing! Definitely keep working on it!
Really like the concept, I think it would make a great finished game, and even what you have is really good!
It looks really pretty. and the controls are precise too. i could not figure out how to jump (if even possible). The camera movement is neat and adds to the mood of diggin a giant piece of land.
This looks gorgeous! I dug all the way down the first time and fell before realizing you have a FEZ-like turny thing going on. I hope you decide to finish this, it looks like it could end up being an awesome game :) If you put up a website or twitter or something I'd subscribe to see if you update it!
love the graphics, its a great start for a cool mining game, good work!
Nice wrap-around-the-corner feature and visuals style overall. Post-compo version also looks more fun, too bad you didn't have time to make it during the jam.
Sad that you were not able to finish this in time :( After playing the post-compo version - you should continue working on it!
Pretty good, still not a game, but I liked what is there so far.
It's missing quite a bit, but like others have said - it's a great start. I like the lighting and the world rotation the best.
Nice Concept! I would definitely play it again with every new little feature. :)
Nice art style and mood. I like the Fez and Minecraft blend. After digging a while (post compo version) I didn't find much and died due to low health.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you want to place in the final results, you NEED votes. The easiest way to get votes is by rating other games. Judging lasts for 3 weeks following the end of Ludum Dare. For best effect, rate 20 games as soon as possible. Rating more games is encouraged.
MORE TIPS AND DETAILS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE
TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up.
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
Not finished, but looks cool :) Nice idea with lights.
