Goat Guzzler

by rorycooke - 48 Hour Compo Entry

Troll just wants to have a nice relaxing time beneath the surface but the goats won't stop pooping

- Troll follows you mouse
- Right click to jump in and out of water
- Left click to eat

Troll gains heath in the water but loses score multiplier and smells of poop

I generated the music in wario ware DIY - that's why it is terrible :)

More people need to play this. It's so satisfying to jump out of the water and guzzle down a bunch of goats! Great game. Art style is good too and an original take on the theme.

oh the music is terrible, thanks for the comments, I really wanted the jumping out of the water mechanic to be satisfying so I am really happy that you think it is

Awesome graphical style and concept. Controls for eating goats seems kinda random, I'm just clicking as much as possible.

Great art. The aesthetic of everything worked together well, and there is quite a lot of detail if you look at it as a whole. Music was a little bit on the annoying side on it's own, but with the gameplay and graphics it does set up the mood.

That game made my day! Very funny! The music match it.
The gameplay and the game mecanism is also well done. Also a good innovation.
My favorite so far!
Not sure to get the take on the theme though.

Had to try this because of the title. An amusing use of theme -- and just even more generally amusing. Graphics and music had a certain charm too, And I enjoyed the extra challenge provided by the defecation of the goats.

I'd prefer keyboard controls.

The troll is too muppet-like but otherwise nice work on the visual style.

I like the instrumentation on the music and I'm amused that you created it in Warioware... but it does get a bit annoying.

May 4, 2014 @ 6:04pm

I think this is my favorite game I've seen for this Dare. Very nice job! I especially love the animations.

May 4, 2014 @ 6:08pm

Haha the paper style is great and funny! Love the eating animation ^^ (just change the music ;)

Oh, I just love how the troll looks lurking in the water!
I like what you did with the theme.
The graphics look great as well.
Quite a hard game to survive for long I think. I was misled by 'Troll regains energy in water'. Not if he's pooped on!
The music gets on your nerves pretty quick, but I guess you know that :)

Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.

PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs ( and you will show up.

MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
