Fun concept. One bug i found is that if you die during the boss battle you respawn there with full health and no way to damage the boss.

Love the bullet-hell inspired boss! Nice game, great graphics. Audio gets a little repetitive but the game is challenging and I spent quite a lot of time playing it.

That was cool, the art style is consistent, and it was even challenging at times dodging all the projectiles. Overall it was good fun!

Initial part was easy but fun. Boss part was hard, couldn't beat it and miss the axe. Fun game, well balanced

I liked the art style and the genereal mistery of founding out what lies beneath! The gameplay is simple and fun (although its a bit repetitive). Maybe tuning down enemy health slightly and adding some fun physicalized death reactions would help. It reminded me a bit of Nuclear Throne.

I wasn't able to beat the boss (probably because I use a laptop with a trackpad, so I can move and aim at once), but I had a lot of fun. Probably one of the best LD games this go round.

Best entry I've played so far! I finally was able to beat the final boss! Very satisfying and challenging gameplay. The graphics are great and the sound effect snappy. Love it!

Nice entry. I got annoyed by the controls until I realized I can just hold down the button, I didn't have to keep clicking! The controls are actually pretty smooth.
One more weapon (a range one) would have been nice!
Anyway, I think you have pretty good mechanics to make a large scale game from here.

It was cool that the boss had multiple stages... nice graphics as well. The sound effects were monotonous though.

Solid game, puts mine to shame. The balance of the weapons/their drop rates seems a little off, and I got the same bug as popogames. Still it was fun.

The gameplay started out pretty fun but then got really repetitive. Wish there were more weapons to play with. Good job with the art! The attacks always felt really nice.

This is fantastic. I like the trade-offs of the long, quick sword, and the short, slow, powerful axe. Great character designs, and a super fun game all round!

Great game! I especially liked the boss going danmaku, that was unexpected.
Only drawback is that I spent some time grinding for an axe, and it got lost when I went to the boss...

Nice game! Bullet hell boss was a nice surprise.
Repeating swooshing sound felt too monotonous, if your game had music this would have been so much awesomer.
Graphics are very detailed. Art Style reminded me of Nuclear Throne.

Died on this guy: not sure if it was the last one, so hard XD wish the boss had a health bar. And what was up with all the swords? I just wanted to keep my axe ;_;

I never managed to dodge the orange boss (second phase), so it killed me multiple times. Good thing there is a checkpoint just before the boss.

I think more feedback than a single sound when you are hit could be a great addition, but otherwise this is a pretty awesome job!

Nice game! Somewhat reminded me of "Binding of Isaac" and some Vlambeer games. Very polished and fun to play!
I could not beat the bullet hell end boss but the chicken and shooting eyes were cool! Some background music would have been cool but it's still a very good game!

It's a nice little game! I like the art, though it seemed like it was missing some sounds. Music would've been nice; even a little ditty that plays when a level starts does wonders for the mood of a game. For future reference: it's standard practice in bullet hell shooters to make the player's collision box very small (even just one pixel). This makes dodging bullets more satisfying and less "cheap" feeling.

NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.

PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs ( and you will show up.

MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
