It was funny and entertaining, but it was also pretty short. I played it twice and beat the game on my second try. The exe ran just fine for me on Windows 8 64 bit. The fight at the end was really well done for a text-adventure game.
Glad you people like it :) I'll try and sort out why it isn't working for some people
Interesting, a kind of acting game? You're told how to react to certain kinds of events and are then tested on your ability to remember those rules.
What a strange game, but I like it! A few typos but interesting gameplay and a funny story.
When I try to run the exe, it just gives me an error saying it can't be found.
Avast! is detecting this as Malware and refusing to run it, sorry man!
Sorry to be negative but choices seem very binary. ASP-like dialog systems were created for AAA in order to distill conversations and make them faster. So I was pleasantly surprised to see them in a text game.
Really enjoyed this game! Not normally a fan of text adventures but this one was simple enough not to confuse me xD. Story was interesting all the way through, the interaction was good as well. Overall a really good game I thought!
Cool game. I wonder if it could have been done in something like Twine to make it more accessible and add some typography?
I enjoyed the game even though it had no Graphics or Audio. It's a good storyline.
Fun little game. Started out really serious, then got all kind of weird but in an entertaining way.
Ah, that was nice, although it could have been a bit longer. I beat it at the second try (died in the boss fight on the first).
What was the bandage for?
(spoilers)
if you didn't pick the potato up then you would need the bandage to survive having your arm cut off :D
Nice text adventure. Ripped the picture of my son and got owned :-)
Fun story, the typos and the weird choice of keys actually add to the mood. I kept expecting to come to a yes-no question and dumbly blindly type n.
Interesting idea, but it feels like it should be less linear. Also, typos and misspellings seem pretty bad when there's only text.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you want to place in the final results, you NEED votes. The easiest way to get votes is by rating other games. Judging lasts for 3 weeks following the end of Ludum Dare. For best effect, rate 20 games as soon as possible. Rating more games is encouraged.
MORE TIPS AND DETAILS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE
TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up.
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
I wasn't able to try it, due to the .exe saying it's not for my version of Windows, and the zip saying its corrupt. It looks interesting though.
