Edit:
(12/17/13) added a Windows downloadable build.
(31/12/13) added a new version with the following changes: Added the option to try again using the space bar, instead of the mouse; Fixed the jumping animation. Now it's now started randomly while running; Tweaked the player's ground and jumping velocity; Redesigned room 06 to make it not so hard.

I really loved the idea, made me chuckle once I figured it out. Congratulations :)
(The jumping speed could be a bit more in-sync with running movement)
Good entry with a nice use of the theme! Only little thing, the slow down while jumping was a bit strange to me.
Thanks everyone for the feedback!
Just one question, do you think the jumping and running is really that different? I know they're different (they were programmed this way) but I don't see that much difference. To me, it's almost the same. Maybe because I played it a lot... So it's intersting to get other people's feedback.
Pretty good game. I would have to agree with the previous commentors, the speed while jumping was quite a bit slower and took from the game a bit.
Cool game, love the sound and the graphical style. Fun ot play with a cool idea. Well done!
Really cool idea! First coin I was like "What? Is that all?" Then I got it and I had top play till the end because I wanted to know where this will end.
One thing though: the jumping is kind of too floaty. But the concept is great.
Cool theme subversion! Love the tone of the Game, it really worried why we are not getting those gold coin :))
Holy crap, this game is great. At first I was like, ok, neat twist on the theme, but then I realized you twisted the twist! You win the ludums.
Very fun, my sincerest compliments! I love reading all the text the game throws at me (it's a bit hard, though, especially in the "avoid this" Matrix part).
Love this! I genuinely wondered if that was it when I grabbed the first coin a couple of times before realising the real game led beyond... Jumping was very floaty but I guess I accepted it eventually. Good idea, well executed, really nice little bit of music too.
Made me laugh. I like games that mess with the player in a way that makes them feel clever rather than stupid.
Hi everyone, thanks again for the great feedback!
Don't know if you've seem, but I updated the game with some tweaks.
Wow, this put a smile on my face! The game-player interaction reminded me of portal, very well done indeed! The game flowed very naturally for me, kudos on the writing!
Oww maaaaan, this is so cool. Laughed really hard, once I found out :D

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you want to place in the final results, you NEED votes. The easiest way to get votes is by rating other games. Judging lasts for 3 weeks following the end of Ludum Dare. For best effect, rate 20 games as soon as possible. Rating more games is encouraged.
MORE TIPS AND DETAILS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE
TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up.
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
Nice Work. I Really like the idea.
