December 13th-16th 2013 :: Theme: You Only Get One
[ Real World Gatherings | Ludum Deals | Warmup Weekend ]
Lovely Bullets is a game about love, frustration, and lack of bullets. Standard FPS controls, WASD and left click. It turned out really hard apparently.

HAHA! that was fun. I liked how you had to throw your gun cuz your out of bullets, made me laugh. Also my GF was upset to see that I was someone elses. XD
It's not really hard, i just running all time and they cant catch me :D
I'll have nightmares about that target with heart, hahaha, very fun
I LOVE the visual design! and it's the best use of the theme I've seen so far! Good job! :D
When I saw this entry on the list I was sceptical, but after I played through this... you're one of my favorites!
Cool and challenging game. Loved the comments after each death.
Really fun entry, I played it several times! :)
Hilarious idea to give the player just one useless bullet, genious.
Nice concept and art. The idea to throw the pistol is hilarious. The controls seem to be far to sensitive. Furthermore, I could pass through a lot of enemies without hitting them.
I am in love with the atmosphere of this game. Absolutely amazing.
Also the aestethics. Wow!
The problem is tho, that, at least to me, enemies' movement pattern is not clearly recognisable, and I fail to understand how to avoid them. Maybe I am just not fast enough.
Really nice game tho :)
Thanks everyone for all the nice comments, I'll be checking out all of your games!
@MaTX, There's no patterns actually. They try to tackle you, waiting just a little bit before trying again. If they see a pistol coming, they dodge. That's it!
Strangely addictive! The targets seem to be really good at dodging out of the way after a while. The colours give the game a really nice aesthetic. Awesome game1
I found it a bit hard to locate enemies in 3D space due to them not having shadows, but it's still very playable and I like the clean looks. Reminded me of Antichamber somewhat.
A great take on the graphics.
Looks like a kid's show!
Good work..
I'm guessing that throwing my gun at the "Give me a hug" heart at the end meant that I beat it? This gives a whole new meaning to run and gun...
Now if only getting a girl were as easy as beating this game...
Was it just me that was terrified by the targets? xD
Great game!
Very well done! Enjoyable, unique, and good use of the theme!
My only wish is for it to have more varied music.
This is really awesome, love the humor in this. Rate very highly. :)

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you want to place in the final results, you NEED votes. The easiest way to get votes is by rating other games. Judging lasts for 3 weeks following the end of Ludum Dare. For best effect, rate 20 games as soon as possible. Rating more games is encouraged.
MORE TIPS AND DETAILS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE
TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up.
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
Very fun, I loved it.
