Thanks for the heads up, switched from Dropbox and rehosted it on Newgrounds
Very funny game. The graphics and sounds were quite poor, but what it lacked in those aspects, it had in fun and challenging gameplay. Quite humorous too - love it!
This game was way more fun than I expected.
And I am so dumb: It took a few seconds til I realized that you are spot on with the theme.
Very nice! Loved the use of "10 2nds". I saw another game with athletes based on the same theme, not sure if it was independent or what, but still awesome! Visuals are fantastic!
The last level laser things didn't seem to quite work as expected but the game was still beatable. Lovely!
Very fun!
The Linux version doesn't work on ArchLinux (because of a version mismatch in libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0) but the web version does. Also you need to include the source.
awesome game and very very cool use of the theme got stuck on level 9.
Fun idea and very smart level design. The humor is also good :)
Great twist on the theme. The game is hard, but it's quite satisfying when you finally get the second place.
Thanks for all the nice comments guys! It's really gotten me into a great mood :D.
Thanks for letting me know about the linux mismatch (also that I forgot to up the source)!
Hahaha--I love this game. The idea of getting 2nd place is genius. That could be a whole LD48 theme - "underachievement"
LOL, we have the same interpretation of the theme. Unfortunately, I can't run your game, it crashes on my Windows, and Newgrounds say it's under review.
Try my game out here too:

There's a surprising amount of skill involved in getting 2nd place! Nicely done
Nice interpretation of the theme :D Surprised me ! Good job ! :)
Very funny, but some levels are more luck than skill and I was not able to finish the last level since it sometimes does not react on my keypresses. Good ideas. Keep on creating such games
Good take on the theme, good graphics and nice sound (which remind me of Gran Prix of Atari era).
Very innovative! It's a simple idea, but fun to play and keep trying at
Haha this game is hilarious and a great alternate use of the theme.

TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up.
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
I lol'd at some points. Very fun, too.
