So a few things we didn't get to add to the game, such as a score. The game mechanic is a little confusing as it's not explained in a concise enough way. Also a little delay in the speech bubbles would help to know who said what first.
That said, both myself(Zubrowka)and Ezmeow had never done a game jam before and feel we've achieved a lot more than we expected!
For next time, for me - get a better rig as the one I made was awful and didn't even have any IK's(!)

beautiful and funny grey 5 stars. Is there a way to win or are the conversations infinite?
VERY nice style to the graphics. Good presentation too. Loved the piano music. Where did it come from?
Beautiful game! I didn't understand the mechanics of the game. The rapid-fie dialog mechanic is underused in most games. I did like the pop culture conversation pieces.
Fantastic art direction. Quite funny, although the game mechanics are a little obscure. Am I supposed to be saying the same amount of nice things as mean things to keep the meter in the middle? I'm not really sure. Overall pretty great.
Well that was odd, haha. Excellent presentation, but not much "game" to it I guess. I loved the layout of the texts, looked great!
lordjosephdeburg - Yes the convos are infinite just now. We just didn't get time to add in an overall score. And thank you. :)
recursor - Thank you very much, we got the music from http://incompetech.com/music/royalty-free/?keywords=USUAN1200003
ArcturusDeluxe - Thank you and yep, you have to keep the balance in the middle The idea being that the longer you spend balance the higher you accumulate points. But as mentioned, no time to implement sadly.
Crazy beautiful and well-polished! I like that the reactions vary tremendously, so it's not always best to reuse the answers
Absolutely fantastic art and really enjoyed the concept. Wasn't sure at first if it looped but I figured since new conversation topics weren't popping up that it did. Fun goofy dialogue.
Wow, this looks extremely nice! Cool idea to present the progress. Fun use of popular quotes.
Great work on the graphics. Love the orange/white/black color-scheme. It's also cool how the interface integrates into the world, including the intro-gag :)
The aesthetics are very cool and the dialogs are funny. In a general form, I liked it! Too bad you guys couldn't implement a score mechanic as right now it feels like the game has no goal (I tried shifting completely to both sides to see what would happen, haha).
The music was interesting at the beginning, but as I walked forward and kept playing balanced a long time, it got kind of repetitive and annoying. The same goes for the dialogs - if the purpose is to keep playing as long as you can, I think it would be cool to have a huge database of phrases and possible responses, but with the time constraints I perfectly understand why there is just a limited set of them.
Another idea would be to shift the music accordingly with the current balance, like it happens with the lighting!
It was an overall interesting experience! =D
So, so pretty, and a fun game to go with it. For your first jam this is really great work.
Nice visuals. But I can't read anything in 10 seconds. Don't like that idea.
That is amazing art, I love the intro and the way it just smoothly rolls into the game D
Interesting idea, shame no ending.
Really cool graphics. I think, I did not really understand the game mechanics though ;)
Really great art and music! It just broke my immersion when they started repeating lines, but that can easily be remedied with unique conversation lines for NPC :) Great job!
This game was so good I just had to put out the balance by rating it 5/5 in all aspects. Overall a well thought out well presented game with a good mood and a brilliant sense of humour. Well done!
Really silly stuff! And a cool interpretation of the theme. It got pretty repetitive quick though, and I wasn't sure if there was an ending, or if it went on forever. The conversatons never seemed to change.
Good music, humor, and graphics though! Nice job.
Really impressive modeling! Liked the idea around the random 10 sec conversations as well.
that was fantastic. great aesthetic and design, witty questions and response, and a unique goal. in what other game do I want to be as neutral as possible? great work!
Interesting graphics and models! Works really well.
Also interesting concept. I'd love to see this more polished and with a clearer objective.
Nice enrty! I had fun :)
Excellent presentation. Plays ok too, speed multiple choice dialogues might not be my type of game though.
I don't really get it, but it was pretty and funny. Good dialogue!
Graphics and music are great! This a very polished product, quite impressive. Add some gameplay and more interaction by the user and you got it! Brilliant work
Really cool. I love the art and the mood. The dialogues felt a bit too random, but that doesn't mean they weren't funny :-)
Beautiful style, mood, visuals and sound. It's shame there isn't more variety in the conversations and some 'win' condition to aim towards, but this was a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
Beautiful game with some nice piano tunes. It did get a bit repetitive very quick. The interface was very well done. Solid entry :)
Pretty! And pretty funny too! Nice work for three days, guys! More!
To be honest, I don't think I understood everything... But wow! What a mood! This is like a short absurd movie! Very good art, awesome menu integration, I really enjoyed walking in this street :)
Interesting idea and nice graphics for 72 hours of work :)
Would love to see high scores system and variation of conversations if you work on it post-jam. Great job for your first game jam ^^
Great work on graphics and a mood! Pace was a little slow and question repeated to much but still shitload of work done withing timeframe! Also nice to see something different!
Nice mood and graphics, But the mechanics is a bit too simple.
Waw, what graphics, and what a mood O_O Maybe some explanations about the two gauges would have been helpful. Still, awesome job!
The art and music are just amazing! I enjoyed the pop culture references, but it got repetitive kinda fast. Definitely a cool entry.
Very original entry. I think the concept is cool. It would be good if there was a reaction when you answered something right. I like the overall strange look and feel that it has. Top scores for innovation from me.
Hah, loved it. Some of the dialogues were quite hilarious. Beautiful art style too.
Top notch.
It is fantastic one! Mood, graphic, sound,.. game is grate!
Nice graphics and sound, cool overall style to it. I didn't really get what to do... Oh well.
Really nice audiovisuals. The concept is fun and original, and the mood is well achived. My only concern is about the theme becouse i dont feel like it is well covered here.
Absolutely gorgeous style and presentation. I wasn't real thrilled with the gameplay though. I admit to resorting to just clicking wildly. I'd continue dev on it and find more gameplay? Reminded me of Monkey Island Insult Sword fighting.
My goodness, just look at that street! :O Can't believe you managed to do that as well as everything else in the game. Conversations were funny if repetitive by the end of it I wish there was a punch in face option for the taco taco guy! Please do a post-jam entry with more dialogue :)
graphics were great but i just dont understand what you are supposed to do -- nice effort
Artwork: Mind=blown. Even though I didn't particularly liked the questions, which seemed overall random, the presentation itself is enough to get this a very high rating!
The visual and audio aspect of this game is damn impressive! I loved it.. Too bad the gameplay is so simple and dialogues are so repetitive.. And, in fact, i use to read text from left to right, but in this case the question must be read first, and is on the right of the answerr.
very interesting and original. would love to see this get further development. the music and graphics are really something. highly entertaining even though it's a bit fuzzy.
Very polished visually for a jam entry. Also a nice idea, glad to see someone else touched a theme of talking to someone in 10 seconds ;)
Nice idea and quite charming, but a bit confusing and especially overwhelming given the 10 second time limits. Looks like this could be good if you had a bit more time, but you did very well for your first jam!
That was VERY interesting. I just love the idea of how you have to balance the light or else it'll be too light or too dark. And I just find the questions and answers very humorous
Love the concept here! Great graphics and animation too. A bit hard to keep track of whether I was pissing people off or not. Some of the comments are really funny! :)
~* Congratulations on your first game jam! *~
Honestly, I ended up just randomly clicking on responses, but I understand you didn't have time to implement everything you wanted to.
Amazing presentation!
Outstanding presentation! The mechanic was a little confusing, and there was a lot to read if you did not want to blindly mash answers and lose all your time and the same time. It is a shame that you were not able to add everything you wanted to make it a full experience though, because the game exudes flair like few other I have played so far, and I love how even the credits/game over screens are playing with the theme of the game. Also, is Mr Grey wearing an orange Pebble or something ? :D
Thanks a lot for the comment on my game! Yeah, I like the game over a lot too - somehow, it just made sense to do it like that :)
You probably didn't find any friends though, hm?
Your game is incredibly stylish. The backgrounds look super cool, the screen effect is nice, and I'm in love with those character designs. The music is superb too! The intro/menu/game flow was a very nice touch of polish.
The gameplay is fun, albeit it seems to be a little incalculatable sometimes as some characters seem to react differently to perfectly nice or awful comments - but then again, otherwise there wouldn't be any challenge, would there? Are the reactions consistent among the characters or is it randomized? It took me a little until I understood what the two meters up there were - at first I thought it was my mood versus the world mood. At my second playthrough, I finally figured it out.
Having the text to the right and the answers to the left was a bit awkward - not really a good reading direction. Questions over answers would've made it less awkward and easier on the eyes - right now I mostly look at the answers, but then again, I probably know most of the questions.
A really nice concept and a solid implementation - good job! And congratulations on finishing your first game jam, Zubrowka and Ezmeow!
@ GSM Productions - Thank you, and yeah it's shame we didn't get a lot of stuff in. We actually had a lot more props made we didn't have time for aside from the gameplay elements and tweaks too. And yeah, it's a Pebble watch!
@ TobiasW - The chat is usually 4 tiered, though not always. The third tier has multiple random responses, so the same action one time can have a different reaction another time. But yeah, there's not a lot. I had to do it 20 minutes before submission with a maximum character limit so it was tricky! :D
Initially I was hoping to not have any metres, props, lighting and environment were going to change to show progress instead. We knew about the left/right problem, but no time to fix. :) Thank you for an indepth crit!
Forgot to mention, Almax and Ezmeow seem eager to do a post jam version at some point.

I had quite a bit of fun playing this, the first playthrough I tried to insult everyone and be a dick but playing the game to try and stay neutral is quite fun also. I really like some of the dialogue choices, the graphics style is amazing and overall just an outstanding effort in your first game jam!
Glory to Arstotzka! Oh wait...
Nice entry! I liked the random dialogue and the atmosphere (The music theme was awesome). Perhaps the dialogue feedback could be a bit more noticeable than the balance bar so you can better see the consequences of your choices. At the moment it feels a bit static, so it doesn't stand out.
Other than this minor detail, congrats!! =D
Absolutely beautiful style, the gameplay was not so obvious to me though...
Really great job! Though the music got quite repetitive... but I like the environment changes :D
I really like what you've done with the linearity of the movement. Also I found really nice how you used the light to illustrate the actual feelings balance.
The gameplay could have been more challenging and fun with some winning conditions (I read that you didn't have the time for that).
Extra point for the "Breaking Bad" and "Papers please" hints.
@Colapsydo
We really were in dire need of some game design skill, kinda lost without our trinity and it shows. I think there could be some cool winning conditions and some interesting challenges thrown into the mix but we didn't see any of that till hindsight.
Thanks for you comment though, your game was really tight. :)
Wonderful very game, very fun. Unfortunately no "win" condition and eventually the conversations DO become fairly repetitive. Would love to see this become a full scale game with an actual fleshed out story.
Graphics are wonderful! I didn't do too well with the dialogue, but it was fun just clicking random things and watching the sliders go all over the place XD
Beautiful visuals, and great way to integrate UI elements into the game!
Wow, great style. A bit strange as a game, but the music, style, and mood were very good.
Very beautiful game! I think I got the objective of the game (Maintain the balance between saying "nice" and "bad" things. The gameplay is a bit weird, but the graphics are amazing! Very good job.
Felt a bit repetitive. The art style is quite good. The concept is very unique.
The first minutes were very funny, the oncept, graphics and musica are all very well done but after a while the game loses it's interest, there is no point in continuing the game after knowing all the lines.
This game is really funny and filled with great graphics! Nice Entry
I featured it in my LD27 compilation video series, if you'd like to check it out :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zzQ8TXQohmI
The theme dont match very well, but the game is gorgeous. One of the funniest games of the LD27.
Cool black and white film style. The graphics and music is also incredible. I would need much longer to get such a polished presentation. The gameplay idea is also cool, although I am no so good in giving the right answers...

MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
My first game jam! \o/
So much to fix but overall, a lot more than I hoped we'd get done for a first attempt.
Next time, a proper rig! And a more solid gameplay mechanic.
