Tai overslept and now he's late fashionably late for school! Play as he tries desperately to get to school on time, only to be interrupted by the SharkNATO (its like the North Atlantic Treaty Organization but with sharks).
This game has no affiliation with the SyFy channel, any suggestion towards that is meant in a parodic manner. enjoy!

If you're confused on the bus level, you must survive the first 10 seconds, then get in the bus within the next 10 seconds. SHARKS

Haaaaaaaaaa, oh dear. Shitted my pants. Dude, this is clearly a 5/5 . Still have tears in my eyes from laughing.
This was hilarious! If my teeth ever rot and turn black, I hope he can send me some of his toothpaste :D Awesome job!
Hahahahaha, that was awesome. Your game is unique and interesting. The mechanics vary from level to level which is nice. I love the game's graphical style and all of the game's humor, I just wish there was more to play :D
That was awesome. Your game is hilarious. I love the getting out of bed at the beginning. Reminds me of how I often have to jump out in the morning.
Very, very funny!
The introduction "a capella" was great. Heck, everything was great.
Congrats! ;P
Pretty funny, good job on the improvised SFX/BGM. Couldn't figure out how to protect the bus but I don't think it matters. This could be the next McPixel.
Thanks for the responses, everyone! :D
@Dark Acre Jack McPixel, you say?! I sorta reminded myself of McPixel after I made this haha. Thanks!
@BenWhi I'll be sure to get you some 10 Second Tai™ brand toothpaste when I inevitably start making merch!
Hilarious. I wish I had a jet pack to get to school back in the day.
Hah! Extremely funny man, nice game. Couldn't get passed the bus stage though, what am I meant to do? I'll be looking out for that toothpaste, don't disappoint me!
This was really entertaining and a wonderful "gamification" of a common experience. The over-the-topness sold it. The controls were a little loose and hard to get working in points, but overall very enjoyable.
I love the sheer absurdity of it all! The gameplay and story shared the same breathlessly joyous excitement, making them mesh perfectly together and compliment each other.
A full-length game of this sort would give birth to a new genre and I would raucously applaud it.
@Blennosoft wooa if i could spark a new genre..WOWEE
Dude, thanks so much for your comment, it's really pushing me forward to do more with this crazy project :D
Actually, thanks everyone for your comments, it's giving me some mad motivation >:D
Hahaha, amazing. It's Octodad meets WarioWare, and it's absolute genius :D
Nice and ridiculous! Loved the humour, and especially putting the pants on and the sharks. Great!
This game is pure awesome. Great humor, very well done. I featured it in my Ludum Dare 27 video compilation series, if you'd like to check it out :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GcXHrH6VSV0
lol! that's hilarious. Pretty interesting story for sure...Not sure how I could get to school safely with sharknatos on the way..
The emergent humor is strong in this one! Well, and also the normal humor. Pretty strong too. And some meta humor. In other news, that was hilarious :D
I loved how you apologized in the menu for the lack of music. You should've commented the whole game like the alarm thing! I think your voice is perfect for that.
Why is there no beat box music the whole game, whyyyy? I was so much expecting that, and that would've earned you a pretty high audio score!
The graphics fit perfectly for this kind of game. Your character designs are awesome, especially the faces Tai makes.
The gameplay itself is pretty hilarious too. I love (ab)using physics for stuff like this.
I think the part I like the most is the splash screen with the a Capella music, I'm just messing around with books and balls listening to funky beat-boxing.
The rest of the game is excellent, I'm found of this kind of humor. And you did such a variety of gameplay, nice.
@ToabiasW Duuude I so would've put some beatbox music across the whole game, but unfortunately I was doing the audio in literally the last few minutes of the Dare :/
nice job nailing down all the type of humor present; haha I didn't even know it was called emergent humor until just now so thanks for pointing that out!
And yes, (ab)using physics to win is the way to go.
Thanks for your comments, everyone!
This was great! Somewhat of a 10 seconds Wario Ware like game...
Nice and funny graphics and extra points for the a cappella sounds! I was pretty much laughing through all the game. :D
Um.... lol
Some nice lighting effects going on in here, actually. The game is funny and I just wish there was an actual upbeat song to go with the totally ridiculous action. Good work!
I like the music and sound effects. Quite a bewildering experience!

TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up.
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
ahahahahahaha, oh my god, that game is great!!
