I decided to make a prequel to my LD#23 entry Predicament, the gameplay is the same, but with a bigger focus on minimalistic.
You find your self in a room, and your goal is to find a way out.. just like in Predicament there really IS a way out (some people still believe the previous game had no exit !)
Think outside of the box, work with the minimal tools available, and escape your boring room.
All done in HTML5, most browsers should be running it without problems, worst case just use Chrome!

Just when that textbubble sound was beginning to drive me crazy, the phone appeared out of nowhere xD
Funny game, but it's kind of unfair to just have your players wait around, don't you think?
Nice art as usual. Poor kitty.
Yeah, it's kinda unfair to have wait for next clue :)
(Spoil free) Still can't figure out the correlation between my actions and one of the steps. Overall a pretty interesting game. Good art, fitting sound, and a cool concept.
LoL. I thought it was bugged, but was not! humorous and neat!
Great kind of game for a 48hr compo... I don't know where the phone comes from...
It's certainly minimal. I used to be obsessed with these kinds of puzzles. The character's brow probably closely resembled my own as I tried to figure out what caused what in the game. The cat is a strange turn of events.
That's the weirdest escape game I ever played. I had to resort to mashing the keyboard constantly while walking back and forth. The text bubble idea was pretty good though, but at times it was quite confusing. STUPID ... FRIDGE DOOR ... IS BROKEN STUPID ...... BORING!
Very nice, too short but very nice. The cat is the key to everything O.O
Nice experience but it was kind of hard to figure out what was going on at first, I moved once and pressed X.
Haha, nice one! I found the exit.
At first I thought it's impossible... Yet by doing random stuffs (you guys will know this as you'll play)... It's possible. And the texts I saw are really funny from flashing at the right time.
I think it is the number of jumps, as it kept saying 'boring'. Also, you don't leave through the door. After you leave, and it says you find your freedom, is their an end? or is that it? I could still jump, wasn't sure if that was intended or not. Fun little game though.
Ha, I figured it out eventually. Really great job with the presentation and a nice little game play gimmick. Well done.
I got a bit stuck, but very interesting art and smooth gameplay!
At first i was "nooo it's nice but buggy!" then i understood. It's cool :)
Okay, I figured it out. This was amazing. I really like it. =)
Great work... nice art... good sounds... but I gave up quickly after nothing seemed to happen. After reading the comments, it sounds like I just had to wait around for something? Patience and gamers do not go hand-in-hand. =)
no it has nothing to do with waiting.. it's to soon to spoil the solution here, so if people can't solve it just ask on twitter ! *spoilhint* it's not a boRING game!
Nice art and interesting concept. Might be better with different sounds for things happening. Just kind of clicked randomly and eventually got free.
Thanks for the comment on my game! This is very well done, love the style
took me a while and the comments convincing me to keep playing, no bad, just annoying waiting for the phone.
Haha, wow! I got the phone by accident at first, but then I went back to read the comments and see if you mentioned how I got it. BoRING... Hahaha, funny. But you really do need to make it more apparent to the player how they solved the problem.
All in all, love it.
Just got the door drawn and got stuck. Felt nice on the way there though. :)
Great art, and while I was tempted to quit at one point (after finding the door), I stuck with it and was glad I did :)
Very nice game! Took me a while to discover what to do, but when you do, it's great!
Please, take a minute to play and rate game, thanks!
The graphics are unmistakably yours. It took a while for me to figure out how to get the phone, but everything fell into place after that. A nice little puzzler, and clearly it's not just my cat that goes crazy for fish.
I like it, but i dont know if it's bugged or what? because, i'm blocked in the wall's hole
Noooooooo, it's so great but so shooooooort! Nooooo.
I wanted mooooore. x'D
Very very fun and amazing.

TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up.
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
Well, I found the door, but nothing else seemed to be possible. Is it bugged?
