Looks interesting but I can't really play it. Both the download and web versions don't seem to be work. In no stage did "Q-E" change what character I had selected, so stage 4 seemed impossible.

Funky and gunky.

Played until level 4, where there is one only blue but unreachable jump.

gmaker says ...
Apr 29, 2013 @ 8:01am

the blue one can use acceleration (pushing enter) and it increased Y velosity when jump. You can run and jump straigth under lava

Cool idea, but the controls felt a bit weird and I couldn't get past level 4.

Heh, these creatures are adorably ugly :-)

You had a very nice idea - the responsiveness of the controls could use a bit of work, but I think you are on the right path!

Also, there is a "bug" in the game: when you die, you get stuck and cannot restart. It would be nice if dying brought you back to the title screen, or a level selection screen.

I got stuck on the second level with the three Snobits, where blue just can't reach AND break the "cell" where green is locked.

Cheers!

I got stuck at level 4 too. Really creative idea though, and lots of fun. Love the looks of the characters

Looks interesting, but I don't get the controls.

Didn't particularly enjoy this one. I think it was mostly the bubble mechanic that killed it for me, it was just too difficult to control accurately.

I won! The game brought back pleasant memories of DOS gaming era, particularly Lost Vikings and Lemmings. Though bubble guy's ability becomes pretty much useless when you control more than one dude, since you can bootstrap them across any height and distance: http://imgur.com/WKgSaRj Just make them stand on each other and jump with the lowest snobit, and avot: grafity defied.

Great concept, control is still a but sluggish but is a very nice 48hr prototype.

I really dig the "Lost Vikings" vibe of this game, but the controls need some tweaking for the game to be fully enjoyable.

Also, I think it doesn't fully embrace the theme, having to control up to 3 characters - it seems more old-school than minimalist to me.

Congratulations! :)

interesting concept, but I just couldn't get past the controls. It was a lot of effort just trying to figure out how to work it.

Fun game but I got stuck on the level where I was supposed to go up in the top middle bit. I'm not sure, I think it had to do with the bubbles but I couldn't quite get it :x

Sometimes the bubbles would escape from under the dudes feet and rise in the air, thus making it kinda frustrating at times :P

Cool concept though, but felt a bit glitchy at times. Controls were fine in my opinion. Nice graphics too, those small feet :)

Fisrt of all: Thank you for commenting on my game! :3

The bubble guy was kind of frustrating and I didn't finish the game, but the levels were well designed around their abilities and that is awesome. And the little... snobits are so ugly I can't help but like them.

I ended up giving up in the 2nd level as I couldn't understand how the bubbles worked. Sometimes they were solid and sometimes they were not...

Fun game, but I didn't understand the instructions so it took me a bit to figure it out. Sounds could have been a bit more subtle. Q-E didn't really do anything for me. And the up arrow didn't jump. I had a hard time with the bubble.

Fun little game with cutesy aesthetics. Mechanics are simple enough to go well with the theme.

TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.

NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.

PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.

MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up.

MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
