Interesting but even though I figured out how to change the loading bar on level 3 I couldn't get past it
I want people to see all the exciting levels! Level 3 tip: Press Y, not N.
Better level 3 tip: VERTICAL OBSERVATION.
Nice little game, the levels were creative, some of them took me a while to figure out :)
For some crazy reason, I thought this was completely awesome. I think mainly because it was completely unexpected and made me thing, and the solutions were fresh and non-obvious. A shiny, little gem of a game. I was imagining the author laughing at me as I madly bashed my keyboard and mouse figuring out the solution to each level.
Very cool. I got stuck on level 6, because platformers suck.
I´m also stuck at the lvl 3 loading bar. but till then the game was pretty good.
I've always been a bit conflicted about TOWLRs. This one is pretty reasonable, I think. Not sure if level 9 is just demanding or if I'm missing something, but that's where I gave up.
Hmm, what if I don't remember which one is 4?
Aha. Level 4 has a nice special feature: you can flail away madly (at least in a certain way) until you complete the first step of it, so figure out what that first step is by flailing, and then work from there.
I won. Don't spend all your Kongregate earnings in one place :P
That was really fun to play, some great puzzles that were very diverse considering they are all based on a loading bar. It was quite challenging and the humor was great. Well done.
I got the cake. I think you should have started the game with a screen that gave the vase hint like "this game is all about the loading bar" and let it go from there. I nearly quit until I "got that". Fairly genius after that, if you are into maddening, illogical, trial-by-error puzzles :) Didn't get stumped on any of them too long.
L9: tip. Make quick 2 direction changes (hidden maze basically). Hit up/right very quick for example, or left/down.
This is a great game as long as people 'get it' and understand the puzzles all revolve around getting the loading bar from left to right (for the most part).
after "Curse Of The Golden Pearl" I can't believe it. stuck on 2 stage
Nice. I do think it needs a bit more to hook the player at the beginning, especially with a theme like this where many games are actually just press Y to win. Good name, too. :) I got cake!
No... Towlr... not another Towlr... anything but that... don't make me- NO!
Heheh, fun game. The fact that clicking meant death on some levels got annoying when the window lost focus and Flixel froze the game and you had to click it, but that's mostly my fault.
I feel like I had more to say, but I already forgot all of it.

TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up.
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
This is hilarious. Annoying, as I try to figure it out, but hilarious. I'm stuck on level 3.
