December 14th-17th 2012 :: Theme: You are the Villain
That is not what I had in mind at the begenning.
Too much bugs, too much time spent to find them (and fail).
So I decided to make this one, and it's about a nasty bug that eats my game bits.
Oh, and sorry for the home-made sounds.

Nice game! I like the sounds! It would be nice if the difficulty increased up a bit more quickly though.
I'm surprised, really.
Thanks for your positive comments.
I was not expecting as much, since I've make this game in the last hours (started in the middle of monday afternoon !), because I was not able to find the bugs source in my first attempt, and because I don't wanted to give up without trying anything else to propose. That's why this game is a little to easy, and needs more tweaks. ^^;
Considering your story above this is a great entry. The sounds made me mute my speakers, and as others have said, the difficulty curve is way too slow, but it's not bad considering you did it in just a few hours.
Yes it's not bad considering the time spent on it, but it would'nt be fair for the others to include that considerations while rating my entry.
Anyways, thank you, and sorry again for that sounds. ^^
Actually, SFXs sound harsh in the first place but with the speed increasing it starts making a simple melody which is quiet pleasant.
Nice game I was pleased with how entertaining it was. I when from trying to collect the bits, to just trying to avoid the debugger:)
Like it simple and direct. Just lacks a little bit of narratives imho :)
Starts out slow but progresses nicely. The sound effects were a bit annoying but at least they were there. Some Techno music in the background would have been cool. Overall a good game.
Very fun- I can't stop playing it! I also like the fact that it keeps on going- it might be best to simply remove the "level counter" alltogether, *or,* make it more obvious that it's going to speed up ("changing levels")
Nice and simple! I feel the difficulty progression would be more effective if you slowed down the acceleration of the game and added more bugs in there over time. As it was I went from level 2 to level 5, hardly having to move, and then I blinked and I was dead (presumeably a red one), leaving me feeling not very prepared by the previous levels. I like the sound indicators for different enemies, the fact that the player's movement speeds up with the enemies, and the initial game concept. Some really good design there.

nice little game, i gave you fun points due to your story :p
i made 1260, the paced and difficulty is well done for me. Like it
Thank you all for your comments. I'm even more surprised since my first comment, and thank you for that too. The next time I hope I will find the good idea at first, and not have to stand by the last minute with bugs on the bad one before.
@TDRGames : maybe you have to reload this entry page to get the good link, beacause I've changed the path name (I used "LD24" by mystake, since it's "LD25").

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you want to place in the final results, you NEED votes. The easiest way to get votes is by rating other games. Judging lasts for 3 weeks following the end of Ludum Dare. For best effect, rate 20 games as soon as possible. Rating more games is encouraged.
MORE TIPS AND DETAILS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE
REMEMBER: The “Theme” category is only for the main theme (You are the Villain). Don’t penalize for not using Goats.
TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
We’ve identified the problem, and should have the page caching bugs fixed for next Ludum Dare.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up.
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
Fun arcade-y game! A little on the easy side--maybe more debug agents could spawn later on, or maybe a variety of obstacles would help. It was also a little slow at first, but I can get into a groove once it gets to speed.
