NOTE: The audio on OS X is pretty nasty, unless you change the sample rate to 48 kHz in "Audio MIDI Setup".
CHEAT CODE: Press F5 to skip a level.
Linux binaries now available! (Don't know if they work. Sound may malfunction if Pulse Audio is running, I'll want to add proper Pulse Audio support at some point in the future.)

@zapaman: Read the README... Linux is source only, sorry! (Maybe I'll fix it... at some point it's not easy making Linux binaries). I've also noticed problems in Wine with WinCodec support, which I use for decoding images on Windows, I've never been able to get WinCodec to work on Wine.
I'm probably an idiot, but I can't do the first bit, to escape the arena...
It is great idea. Very nice AI on second level. I couldn't win it, they always surrounded me.
Great game. Interesting take on the theme. Pretty amazing that you were able to get so many different styles packed into a single game all in 48 hours! My main complaint is only that I felt the game was at times too difficult. For instance, to clear through three waves of aliens only to die during the fourth and have to start from the beginning is rough. Other than that I thought this was a great submission!
@NatNoBrains: spoiler: You have to win a match, then you can jump out.
That was awesome. Very intuitive! Liked the physics of your game, very responsive.
Arrrrrrrrrrrrrgh, the soldier/tank/alien level is bloody impossible. Bonus points for getting me to ragequit, I think.
I know how the first one should work but because of the jumpy controls I can't make it. the "win-text" disappears to fast to try a second time. after 5 games of pong I gave up. Sad, because I know there was more to discover. Well done anyways. Can't really rate the rest :/
How on EARTH do you get past the first level? x3 There are invisible walls on the sides...
Unfortunately, the game crashed after level 3 of the key/door world (when the text "Level 3: I could hardly keep up with the monsters" appears). And since there are no saves, I have to restart all over again, and it's just a little too difficult for that :(. Too bad, because this is BY FAR the best entry I've seen so far. I completely loved the idea in the first level; brilliant finding and very original.
I liked this a lot! Each of the different levels were both challenging and fun.
By the way, to get it to compile on my linux box I had to include cstring in src/sglib/src/client/type.hpp (it complained about size_t being undeclared) and cstdlib in src/level.hpp (NULL undeclared). Using gcc 4.7.1
for some reason the graphics are wrong. It made it unplayable (but maybe it was because I used the cheat key at level 1, because I had NO idea what else I could do to escape).
The escape of the arena is a bit hard but it's a really nice game. Good job :)
Really fun game(s), the idea was awesome and I especially love that Pong clone ;D
After the first level I expected to do more out of th box thinking but oh well. Still good games all 3 of em.
I think there a lot of textures which aren't loading on my pc :/, is it possible?
@infinitedog: Hm, sorry, I don't know about the textures! I think it should work on Win XP SP3 or greater, or OS X 10.5 or greater.
I couldn't figure out how to advance between levels without the cheat, what's the secret?
@csanyk: I've posted a video walkthrough... but if you're stuck on the title cards, you have to press space.
Excellent take on the theme - good idea! It was quite a challenge in places but I got through to the end. This is a great entry, well done!
I worked out how to escape the Pong level after several tries, but I found the next two levels way too hard.
I loved the sounds and the idea behind it all, but the difficulty was sky high.
I had to be patient to leave the first level maybe 5-6 try ( +crash at 2-0 for me :-/ )
The two others games have a very good difficulty tweaking. The second game especially is hard ( AI is gold ) but very rewarding when you can beat a level.
Really good work... for 16h minigames the finishing touches are good.
Impressive game i like it, very fun and funny, good job :D i like the AI too looks so smart :D
Cute, you won me over with the first line!
You did a great job with the level design of the second segment, though I was able to exploit the third segment by parking my tank directly next to the bunker holding right and shooting. Awesome game, great job!
I liked this, three completely different types of games merged into one. Hardest is probably the pong stage though, the other paddle is PERFECT so you have to rely on the ball getting really really fast beyond his speed to move and anticipating it's movements yourself. The second game is probably the best, i like how the AI isn't random so you can work out different paths through the levels until you find a good one. If anything, for stages like the first lower the score needed to win or have every "goal" a win, since getting 3 wins can actually take some time. The difficulty on the next two stages was moderate and IMHO pretty well balanced.
IMHO the second and third levels, aside from the higher res graphics, were reversed though, the third one gameplay wise is more like an atari game really (at least once in the tank). THe backdrop in level 3 was really disorienting though, and starting on foot was confusing, until you notice the text.
Sound/Music didnt work for the 64 bit linux build so cannot rate that.
Very good idea! Too bad it's so bugged on windows XP. Only first level is working good. The other are white-on-white squares thant are quite hard to understand what rapresent.
@infernet89: Do you have SP3 installed? White squares is a known problem with SP2 and earlier.
Pretty cool game, well done. Stages are pretty challenging, especially the last one.

It says Linux also, but I can't find any Linux binary! Tried wine, the game window comes up, but it remains black!
