My most complete ludum dare entry yet!
If you are wondering about how it fits into the theme, I thought the evolution of character would work, as I didn't feel like making a more literal themed game.

I love the ending, and the rest of it was pretty good. I think applying the theme to this is a stretch though.

Thanks all! I thought the evolution of hero to villain was fitting for the theme, but I can see how others might not think so. I just didn't feel like making a game about a character evolving physically.

Interesting story, although I can't help but feel that the ending screamed "rape". Mechanically it was quite simple I found the best way to beat enemies was to get a one or two to follow you then just hit them a couple times running away if you needed more space.

I'm giving you 5 stars for humor, this was hilarious little game! Okay, technically and graphically this wasn't the most brilliant entry and fighting was pretty hard until I figured out how to attack propely, but the story and ending were funny. "You start to think Jammon had the right idea" made me laugh.

Next time, give him faster attacks and more range. Nice job though, I have been amused!

autotracker never produces such fine tunes for me

the story was interesting and I'd really like to see a sequel to this :)

Thanks guys! I agree I was really lucky with autotracker! It was actually the 4th song I generated. I usually get some pretty odd sounding stuff.

A fun game; nice, simple art, and a lot of it. The simple attacks got a little routine after a while; I'd have appreciated some more exciting combat (bow and sword, e.g.). I also have a hard time seeing this as a good fit to the theme, although I appreciate the hero-to-villain thing - that helps justify it. Anyway, a solid game, well made, good sounds, works very well. I appreciate the save points being gentle - a lot of games in LD don't do that, and I often get frustrated. Good work!

Haha, I love that the king dies in 1 hit. Graphics were great considering the time, music was decent, sounds got the job done. Would have loved to see a side quest or two, to up the attack of that sword, but 48 hours is tough, so it's all good.

Also, can't believe I didn't see you in the IRC at all, I Was on quite a bit.
