I found it a little difficult to select multiple units are once. I couldn't really work out the solution to the second level, sadly, but I like the game idea :)
It took me a little while to figure out the controls since it didn't say them anywhere that I could find, but once I worked that out it was a really enjoyable game. I didn't really see how it linked into the theme though.
I couldn't figure out how to use the controls or what I was supposed to do.
Has little bit monotonous action. But quite interesting strategy game with micro-management. I like it's gameplay.
Would benefit from some polish, but the levels were quite varied and presented interesting puzzles/challenges. Never worked out how to use the circular units - were they just big heavy blockers that couldn't shoot at all?
I couldn't get past the second level... I liked the gameplay, although I thought there should have been more orders you can give to a single unit.
This is basically a real-time-strategy framework. It could potentially be a great game, but it's lacking all comfort features of RTS games yet. For example, I want to see the selecting box when I'm selecting several units.
Also the pathfinding was quite tricky to get used to.
I do like what you can already see of the mechanics, for example that you can beat four attacking units with one attacking unit and a healing one.
Sound effects were quite ok, but lacking music. The graphics were a bit monotonous (too much grey), but I like the effect when a unit gets hit. The text aside of the main gameplay window was interestingly written, but I didn't really understand it, honestly - I felt the need to focus on the game.
Want to see more of this.
Pretty impressive considering the time. There were some mechanics at work that we hard to discern. Like, when doors where going to open. Eventually got stuck, so sorry, I didn't finish.
I appreciate the feedback. I recognize that this game is still pretty crude.
If the AI pathfinding were a little better so I could control my guys better, this would be more fun.
