Nice audio track. As for gamplay i get a little bored afte a while but it's maybe caused by my not fully understading of game rulles :) Either way good job!
I had trouble figuring out what the three different evolutions did, but I didn't find out until I had died. I'm also not a huge fan of the movement, but it fit well with the rest of the game's style.
Good idea! The character is a bit hard to control though. It was annoying to have to grab the mouse when leveling up. Good effort, well done!
Nice idea, although I didn't really understand whether going through the 'doors' lead to a new room or just respawned things.
It took a bit too long to find the first enemy. And when it, it killed me immediately :D
Pretty entertaining game!
The controls were a bit strange-feeling. I think it was mostly to do with how the ship sprite didn't rotate smoothly.
I'm guessing they were randomly chosen, but I very rarely got upgrades to my Burst ability. It would've been useful once the game started spawning 4 or more enemies in one room.
Overall, though, it was good fun.
Random, but the burst mutation is twice as rare as the other two. Yeah I should have probably given the player a bit more to play with sooner I think!
It's a shame you have to wait so long to have some challenge (and so, having fun)
I don't know why, but I really like the graphics here
gameplay gets boring pretty quickly, it's pretty easy to max out all evolutions really early. the speed was a pain though. I played on for a while and the rooms get insane, then i hit a room that had red walls and had TONS of things in it, i didnt even have a chance, since there's no invulnerability frames to speak of the second i got hit it warped me into the middle of the cluster and i had no chance to get out from that point, i lost 10 lives in a span of about a second, then flash locked up and crashed the tab :/ The controls could really use some work though, it just feels "slippery" like you're barely in control of the ship, constantly have to hug the walls and quickly turn around, fire, and turn back into the wall otherwise you move too quickly out and ram the things.
Nice jumble of ideas! Also, sweet music. The background-lightup-thingie is cool.
One problem I fear is the player not noticing it is actually multiple rooms. For some time I though I was looping inside a single room, and not moving through a maze.
Good fun game. A bit slow at the start though.
It would also be useful to say somewhere what the evolution options were.
I ended up trying to decrease the speed because it made it really awkward to control at high speeds. It was also irritating when moving to a new room and dying instantly.
I didn't work out what the mutations did. The audio was great.
Boy I had fun playing that one. Really nice game.
It was fun playing. Although the controls were a bit quirky, I still got pretty used to it.
Awesome music, could have listened to it for hours. Also I liked the background graphics.
Good mood too, it was cool and all. Good work.
Very pretty and polished game! I was kind of confused at first but then I guess I got it. I got 1 on each gene at the end, still don't know if I could get more.
Overall pretty good, congratulations. =D
The movement was a little weird. I ended up using diagonals as if they were the regular up down left right directions, because not going diagonal took too long to get to moving in the direction. Also I thought burst was a bit useless, and the game didn't have the best gameplay. Aside from these things (I'm being a bit more harsh than what my overall thought of the game is), I did like the graphics, and thought the message on the enemies was kinda funny. Even though you'd assume they were just placeholder graphics for the enemies, they totally fitted in, so even though they carried that message they didn't feel out of place. The game is a nice entry, overall.

It wasn't immediately obvious what the evolutions are, but it had a nice bubble tanks feel to it.
