Reminds me of Tumiki fighters. Graphics are good, but where's the sound? Doesn't seem to be playing anything in Chrome. Also, I have a 1680x1050 screen and this is still not large enough to display in the window, even in fullscreen browser mode.
awesome entry ! The starting difficulty is a bit random but once you get 3-4 upgrades it gets easier. This boss challenge is totally epic, I could achieve to destroy head and both arms but died just after that.
If you are testing this game, be sure to push it to the boss battle there's a huge work on it.
Graphics are awesome and the game is fun, congrats.
Fun game and very nice graphics :)
Good job !
Whoa! I was thinking: Easy. Then the final boss happened and boom! haha, funny =)
The idea is fitting nicely the theme, graphics are astonishing even if simple (particles and glow, what else?), and difficulty is correct.
To carry on with the idea of evolution it could have been interesting to gain something after the boss, in order to add some replay value.
I had the same idea, so great concept ! ^^
The game is a success, the ability to match your ship as you want is just awesome. One regret: the lack of differentiation between allies and enemies shots... it makes confusion when the ship is full of upgrades. Oh, and another drawback : no audio. :(
Great ! but too bad there was no sound, would have definitely created a whole better experience with little effort :)
This is good, it is fun to gain extra weapons on the side until you're a huge ball of guns, although it gets very frantic. The difficulty curve is actually quite good, I can't beat the boss but it keeps me coming back to try again!
Ahaha, my first time playing I chose the worst combination of keys possible with this game. WASD and CTRL to fire. Do you want to guess what happened to the game's tab when I tried to shoot while moving upwards? xD
After choosing a better key combination, it was really fun! It would have been more engaging with some audio but for 48 hours there sure is a lot of good gameplay here!
Also, thanks to Benjamin's comment about making sure to get to the boss. It is pretty sweet y'all.
nice one, enjoyed the chaos that emerged from randomly attaching weapons. elegantly solved grafics too. concerning the theme, i believe evolving should be more solution-oriented, not that random. real nice game in any case though!
It should be fun, but on a Mac, I couldn't play a lot : trying Chrome and Firefox, the control did not respond well, I ended on the top of the bottom of the screen after a few seconds, could not fire more than one bullet per second (and I didn't pushed the keys like a maniac ;) ).
I have the latest version of Flash and that's the only flash game I try that do that so I don't know why and I've got no lead for you.
Even with those few seconds, I agree this is a great concept and realisation (well.. almost).
Highly polished and challenging! Love it!
Awesome game! Perfectly on-theme, and fun to play to boot! It's so cool to have 31 turrets around your little ship! Congratulations! Perhaps next time, make the boss a little easier :)
@csanyk: The game seems to be 980x700, so it should fit your screen ;)
Sound and music are totally missing, the game would be much more fun :) But still, the graphics are great and the gameplay is awesome, this is just a really nice idea on the upgrading.
