Unfinished Evolution Entry

by voxel - 48 Hour Compo Entry

Click the unity player, then hold W for epilepsy. A and D spin you if you're moving and would like to pretend you have some control.

Alas I did not even come close to finishing. I submit this partial game so I others can learn from my mistakes etc etc

Wasn't feeling the Dare this time around. Worked at it but made an uninspired choice, was going to be too much effort to beat this into a fun game.

Idea was to have a race track that evolved as you played it, gaining in complexity and difficulty in response to how you played it. Turned out as a bumpy skytube with annoying noises instead :).

I really like the music, it would definitely be cool if you did some more work on it!

Ridiculous speed lol :D. Yes you should improrve it. Idea sounds good (evolving track).

Interesting idea. Like the music-game-aspect of it, where you're basically creating a soundtrack as you go along.

"Cause epilepsy" is not a feature. It bloody kills people.

Strange idea. Liked listening to the sounds build up into music, would have been interesting to see where it had gone if you'd finished it.

Apart from the epilepsy, there wasn't much to this and I think that leaves us in the realm of negative gameplay lol. I feel like this might have been an ambitious project that became uninspired but maybe there is something in here in a future development, given more time. I do like audio driven games and I thought 'Rez' when I saw this entry.

The track movement is a little jarring. Look into the function Quaternion.Lerp().

Dude you're insane if you don't turn this into a game.
