HERE WE ARE! Windows version finally up, take time to learn about crosscompilation :)

The random fonction is not the same between mac and win version but the user experience is pretty similar :)


NEW VERSION UP! This one should be compatble with 10.6+, i can't try it since i'm on 10.8

I'm having issue to upload the new sources, but there is just a minor fix with the wait time after having successfully mutated a cell.

I will post on twitter a post compo version with sound and more features as soon as this will be done.

Cellar is a minimalist mutation simulation.

At the start, two cells are randomly generated.

Genetics values are represented by the color of the cell.

On the first cell you can use radiation by clicking on the dark buttons to make the cell mutates. Its color should change as the genetics values change.

The goal is to reach the same evolution as the second cell using combination of radiations. You can check the percentage of Genetic Match by clicking the button next to the second cell. Red is under 90%, Green is over.
When the Match is tested and return a positive answer, two new cells are generated.

For Mac and Win, and I'm working on Linux support.

I've used C++ and the GLFW openGL library. I made it in ~12h.

I was unable to play this because it requires Mac OS 10.8, and I'm still on 10.6; trying to compile from source also failed because of some dependencies on 10.8.
It would be really cool if you could supply more builds (hell, I'd even take windows :)).

It requires 1.8, on 1.7.2. :/ WIsh I could play though.

Yes mac only, i've quickly tried to port it on Win unsuccessfully.
You can try to build it on Win as it only use GLFW as lib.

I came here looking for who else did Mac only game. You're the first one :)
Your game is nice, but quite short and confusing, but that's the downside of using OpenGL in a game jam.

@chunkyguy thank you, yeah i know it's not really easy to understand how it works. I did it with the time i had, and I'm barely into OpenGL, but i'm proud of my game :)
and sorry, but it's not anymore mac only :D

The idea is good and it works well but i would have liked a real goal. I succeeded to get the right cell a couple of times but i got nothing out of it. Just time or score would have helped.

ran fine for me on mac. Very tricky game to get the colors just right. Overall it was cool and different. Thanks for the game.
