August 24th-27th 2012 :: Theme: Evolution
I created the whole game with Blender 2.63 and the music with Magix Music maker.
This game have no source code! I used the logic bricks only. If you want to see them you have to open the .blend files and change
to the game logic mode. You open the files with Blender.
The theme:
The theme was evolution. There are 2 aspects: firts I became better myself because it was my first LD and the first game I created.
So I evolved myself. The other aspect is that, while I increased my skills, I also increased the AI. The enemies start as some spikes
an they evolve to spheres which use a navmesh and jump only when the player is above them.
So, have fun!
.blend file is for Mac and Linux users included

Interesting, but very hard to control. I agree with Vordux as well.
Managed to fall off the world. but otherwise an awesome game :)
Does this only work on 64-bit systems? Windows gave me a compatibility error that said check to see if the application is x86 or 64.
Very nice game! I'm so glad to see many people making games with the BGE =)
Yeah it seems that it only works on 64-bit systems
I'm sorry and I realy don't know how to fix that.
I really want to see the Read Army of balls, but i get very lost in the second floor, and then ...a bug...

Nice reason why your game involves evolution...fun game...pretty hard though...
The first LD game made with Blender I see, nice one !
A fluid rotation with A and D would be better because it's difficult to see where you are after.
I thougt about how to do that, but I hadn't enough time to implement all of my ideas and plans. Therefore I'm working on an improved version with more functions, "reel" graphics, more music and so on. I will do a blog for that tomorrow, so anyone who's interested can see what I'm doing there...
Cool that it's in blender, but the controls weren't very polished... the A and D rotation especially.

Nice to see something made in the censoriously complicated Blender game engine. I don't think it portrayed the theme well, but the idea of turning the level was pretty smart.
Good job.
