That was incredible, the fact that this is raw d3d really impressed me, and technically the developer console was great to see. I will really enjoy reading the source code later, it looks like there is much I can learn from your game.
The game is great, you've adapted the doodle god style into something better and more enjoyable. The combinations make sense and the results of them are realistic.
The graphics are amazing, also the sound effects and music.
This is a game I will be coming back to and playing again.
Fun game! The gameplay seems super similar to Doodle God, but it does fit the theme really well.
i really love the graphics and the audio! the gameplay, though, is quite short and not really entertaining. cool game!
This is by far the best one I've played so far. You've adapted the Doodle God mechanic to LD and held it together with visually intriguing graphics and a brilliant premise. Great game.
Really enjoyed this entry. The music sets the mood perfectly and the graphics are impressive. Finding a new combination felt satisfying, although sometimes there was way too much trial and error involved. Maybe there could be short descriptions for the items in addition to name and image? This way you could get some hints when stuck.
Good use of the theme, although I ended up systematically trying every possible permutation to find the last few in a level (not particularly fun). Stopped near the end of the Jurassic level.
I liked this a lot - searching for the combinations was fun, and the art was really charming. For the later levels, I started having to do systematic trial-and-error to get the last couple of things; there was no way for me to find them by logic. Some hints might have helped here - it got a little frustrating. The music was OK, but I wish there was a way to turn it off - it got very repetitive over the course of the game. But a fun idea, an original game concept, and fits the theme extremely well. Easily the best of the 5-6 I've rated so far.
Cool idea but the combinations are sometimes so strange, that you randomly combine everything, and that is annoying ^^
Incredibly good. Very educational too! Didn't know man was created from the rat (if you cut a few chains..) and I feel terrible for having created the bee D:
Feels a lot like Doodle God (even has the swoop animation) with one good addition: after every few objects the game clears defunct elements so that by the end of the game you are not just rubbing item together with about 40,000 possible combinations.
As a note for this game and all the rub items together to get a new item game, it would be nice if the game would pop up with a notice as you hover over one item on another that you have already made something with that combination (by showing the product. After a while you forget all the combinations you have tried and have to sit through the animation only to see that you have a duplicate item.
This could be great as an educational game if there were descriptions to the items. It fits the theme really well. Unfortunately, I can't motivate myself to play through level 4, there's just too much trial&error then.
About trial-and-error and some unlogical combinations all you are rigth.
In the Doodle God hint button helped a lot. I planned to add this button, but time was over. I had to do more logical combinations, but there was a few of time and idea to cover all periods of Earth life.
So we have that we have. I think it is normal for 48-hour work. I'll upgrade the game to more sweety state, but not in borders of the contest.
Just came back to say, after playing about 60 games, this has been my favorite.
this was great, made complete sense but the trial-and-error aspect really did me in. i got 17/20 on level 3 and gave in. really good though, look forward to seeing a post comp version.
This is interesting. At some point I requested a hint and the game crashed (unfortunately, I don't remember exactly where I was).
The most interesting and daring entry I've player so far! The UI and graphics are polished exceptionaly well! Thumbs up!
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I couldn't get the app to run. The screenshots look really cool. I hope I can get it working before the voting ends.
2Sestren Try to update DirectX9c drivers (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35) and MSVC2008 Redist (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=29)

That was way better than any other evolution games I've played! The music and the art were amazing!
