August 24th-27th 2012 :: Theme: Evolution
I wasn't really inspired by the theme but I thought the idea of Darwin-Ape fighting against an army of angry Priests in Space with bananas for the sake of the earth was pretty fun.
So I tried, but I couldn't do everything I wanted to.
It's my second game ever and it's pretty empty but I'm kinda proud of it, don't know why.
And I wanted to thanks the creator(s) of sfxr and Autotracker.

Why is Darwin floating in space, shooting bananas at alien-priests? I don't care, but it's fun! Well done. Would add more animations/different enemies.
It's a bit on the easy side, shot down all priest on my first try :). While the sprite graphics are pretty nice I would've liked to se a more detailed background!
For your second game ever, it's really good.
Well put together little game. I thought you did a great job on execution as everything looked good and did what I expected without any bugs or glitches. The game itself was very straightforward and after destroying a few priests I felt things got a little boring. It would be nice to see different styles of enemies and perhaps some gimmick with the banana bullets so that the player has to think a bit more.
Well that was random, and to think I thought my game's link to evolution was tenuous!
A nice fun little reactions game. Nicely done.
As others have said, a bit more variation would have been good.
I liked the banana reference.
This game made me chuckle, Good job.
Haha. This is... quite something. I have to ask, why do the priests have flashy blue cyber-eyes?
Haha, this deserves a 5 star rating for humour for sure. Gameplay was a bit too repetitive, though. Same enemy over and over, just faster. I was able to beat the game without even getting hit. I would've preferred if the game doesn't have an ending, and the goal was to rack up a highscore instead. (Enemies killed / Time survived)
Yay. Science won. I would have made this but I'm not that brave. I went with a more subtle approach.
Would have liked to see a giant Pope mother-ship boss battle.
I'm so glad someone made an amusing Darwin game, nice and simple
