EvoTD is the next generation of tower defense games, where towers will evolve with experience, crushing the enemy in its path!

Hey guys! So EvoTD is a tower defense game that I created, in which the towers will evolve as they get experience with damaging the enemy. The game is a Java applet so it can be run on most any system, and all the instructions are in the game! Have fun!

I really enjoyed this game.
although I do not regularly play TowerDefenses.
It was addicting to keep playing and I might play it again later only thing is music gets a bit annoying and repetitive!

It wasn't really clear where the enemies were going to enter, so I ended up placing my towers at the end the first time. Not really a problem, but kinda confusing. The process of evolution for the towers seemed like a pretty standard thing for TD games. A serviceable TD game without much new stuff, but I did like the orbital motion of the towers.

Thank you very much! And I was worried about that, so I thought I put it in the description in game that they would be coming from the bottom, I must have missed that, sorry about that! But thank you for your feed back! And ya I liked the evolution idea of the towers myself, because most TD's have you upgrade towers with coins, but I took it a step further and made the towers evolve with experience :D

I really liked this TD. By wave 30, I felt the game could have moved a little faster. I'll leave it up and mess with survival mode for a bit :) The sound effects are quite mellow and not sfxr, good work.

Simple TD. "Evolving" without branching seems pretty typical of TD games. I only lasted to the second wave where a whole stream of guys got by while I had 0 gold and 4 blue towers.

It's all about placement! You gotta make sure you have towers that can hit as many blocks at a time as possible!

I found this game absolutely enjoyable. To be able to place towers and let them level themselves was a great idea.

Really nice job!
I love TDs, and one thing that I always have in mind while playing one is "Why can't those damned towers upgrade themselves?" Well, these surely can!

Loving the crazy particle effects going on here. ;) Also a nice idea having the towers upgrade by themselves. I went about 20 waves in before calling it quits... I'd really like to see you add to this game with additional/evolving enemies, and maybe even a feature where towers end up evolving into other towers... anyway, nice work!

I died a few times heading into level 4 or 5, but once I got the hang of it I ended up annihilating them! Very well done, especially in just two days, nice!!!

I made it to level 172. I love TDs and this one is pretty good. There's a dramatic difference in damage between 'clockwise' corners and 'anticlockwise' ones, which is non-obvious.

Game was really bland as far as tower defenses go. No real differentiation between towers (where were the slow, AoE, stun, etc.). Different levels would've been nice. Would've liked a refund to sell back towers, or at least an "undo" in case you accidentally placed a tower.

Music was nice, sound effects were effective without being in your face.

Very fun game! It's great to have a complete game (with sound even!) and I really like how the towers evolve! By looking at how quickly they are evolving I can see if I put them in good or bad spots. The game feels complete, with a menu and even several modes. Congratulations!

Me too. The only thing I see is that they got more damage but they are slower and only have two "bubbles".

So I only built Blaze towers.
