by chlukem - 48 Hour Compo Entry

****************************************************
UPDATE: Thank you very much for the feedback. I am working on adding feedback, goals, and instructions for later release.

I have remade the .exe file so that the game will run on 32 bit computers. I have also included the .love file so you can play the game on mac, windows or linux with the LOVE framework.

****************************************************

I ran out of time while making this entry for this, my first entry in Ludum Dare.

The game consists of 3 planets whose lifeforms compete for supremacy. You control your lifeforms evolution by selecting which lifeforms to breed. You compete against the other planets whose lifeforms evolve through natural selection.

There is no score or objective and I have not yet implemented the ability for you to see the statistics of the breeding candidates.

I intend to continue with this project to turn it into a game with more defined goals.

I will release an updated version after judging is complete.

It lack any feedback about what is happening in this game - and since there is no goal I can not see if what I'm doing is correct or wrong.
Apart from that, I like the music, mabye a little too repetitive...

I was very excited for the game, but really wasn't sure what to do either. :) Let me know if you release a post-compo version.

Yeah, I'm not quite sure what affect changing the breeding shapes has. I couldn't see any differences in the offspring. Also, two of my planets spawned on top of each other.
