Here's my game!
EDIT: I apologize in advance for the easy space mode, lack of winning conditions and lack of enemy variety. I had planned to include more planets to visit with different maps attached but didn't have time.
You start out at tech 1 on a planet, fight some dinos, go into space and blow up some more dinos (who are piloting space ships)!
As you kill things, you gain xp. When you get enough xp your tech level goes up. As your tech level goes up you gain better weapons and hp!
The game saves automatically. Oh, and if you die you have to start over.

Parralax background would've been nice.
The difficulty curve felt more like a difficulty drop.
My j button feels a little spammed ;)
I don't think the space age was neccesarry, there seems no goal there. i found a green sun but it only seemed as a background. I quit on level 25.
Ouch, restarting when I died was too much for me to want to keep playing, but it was a fun game! I loved the first ranged attack power up, the sounds from it were quite melodic.
Pixel galore! This game has two things I like in a game. Exploring and lots of pixels when a ship is destroyed!
Pretty funky. I really liked that your character's weapon changed at a level up. Gotta love the rock throwing sound. It was also a very big level, nice add.
Fun game. I like the use of large pixels as level geometry. The space part felt a little too easy, though.
That was fun but hard! I couldn't get to the space part with a few tries.
Thanks guys!
Sorry it has a few issues with difficulty and a lack of completion. This was my first Ludum Dare attempt, and I didn't get everything I wanted into the game.
Very nice! Couldn't make it to the space area, but regardless:
Sound was a tad strange, cut off in some areas and generally a bit loud.
Loved the blocky geometry but in the underground caverns it was hard to tell where I could and couldn't walk, to the point where once while falling I landed on what I thought was thin air.
Also the above-ground ground didn't fit in with the rest of it.
Very very fun to play to the point where I was laughing.
One thing to fix is the little dino's attacking to the point where you're immobile. That's what killed me in the end.
Regardless, great job!
Really interesting, with nice quick level progression. Well done!
Too repetitive, modest amount of content it got got stretched way too much. Kinda addictive, though :).

"Ah they're hurting me! I'll just jump up to avoid them! There we g...AHHH THEY CAN FLY" Hahah It was a great game!
