This game starts with a long story before starting. I think the point is to stop your aubergines from being taken by your brother.

The fact that you have to choose your descendant is interesting. It could became a lot strategic.
The inversion of direction between movement and shooting brings too much difficulty.

The controls are complicated because you have to point the mouse to one side to shoot and to the other to move.

It took me some time to understand how the game works.

But it's nice effort, the game has some interesting ideas.

It's hard (like a LD game should be), it's fun, as every game should be, and it is evolution, as each LD24 game should be!
But we do not need the full prologue story, and the controls are a bit strange (I cannot really move to the middle when the circle is nearing to the border of the game/the browser window).

Fun and interesting, but agree with the long story at the beginning. This is especially problematic as you want to quickly replay and have to sit through it again.

Overall, interesting concept with the 'pick your descendant' mechanic.

The game is interesting, but you shouldn't have to go through the intro every time you lose and want to restart... :(

I thought that choosing your descendent would have more impact. When I realised that it didn't matter (apart from the one closet to the action) I enjoyed it more.

Thanks for not making me sit through the story on each play. Much appreciated. Maybe the story could have explained what to do.

Froze on my 3rd / 4th playthrough and I needed to re-load.

Actually choosing your descendent have some impact. If you collected 1 or 3 or 5 mutagenic pills, then one of your brothers will have more pills and according to this more mutations

Very clever action puzzle game. I like that you choose your descendant after each generation.

The history and finale was amazing. The controls were hard, because we needed to move the mouse the opposite way we wanted to move.

really really bizarre, but kind of awesome. i would've liked it more if the amoeba moved in the same direction as you shoot (less thinking involved)
