Start with a bare space, and evolve it into a fully grown garden! (see what I did there?)

Hexarden is a gardening puzzle game played on a hexagon grid. Try to maximize your points for each of the five levels, by connecting water to plants.

Each plant is worth one point for each adjacent water piece.

If you feel so inclined, post pics of your best layouts to Twitter with the #hexarden tag!

Cool concept, pretty interesting gameplay once you understand it.

Great idea for a puzzle! Graphics are nice too, on a good fidelity-level. It'll take me some time to figure the perfect system out :)

I liked the game even though I'm not a really fan on this puzzle games. Was interesting playing with my friend to see who scored more points! Great work man!

interesting concept, but not real exciting as-is. I love the audio though, very chill.

Very nice puzzle game. I wish there were more levels, or procedural levels, because I could play that for awhile. Nice job.

I knew I should've made more levels, darnit!

Very nice idea. I'd like some feedback on how I'm doing. It's hard for me not just to skip forward and just click everywhere. Maybe a target score or reward system.

I wanted to pull out python and run through all the possible plays to figure out the real maxes. I love this game. It took me a while to figure out that water can expand too. Click and drag would be more intuitive for me and would lend itself to mobile platforms. Great work.

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah I realized after the fact (and a couple people saying it) that the tutorial didn't cover moving the water.

I'm totally going to write a search algorithm to find the best solution for each puzzle - I'm trying to resist putting more time into instead of finishing other projects :)

I was not moving plants at first. But after I read top scores I replayed it and solve all puzzles with the highest score.
Good game.

Solid puzzler, nice work. Good thing you were able to continue to next level even if you didn't get high score.

Posting the high scores is a great way to get your players to put more effort into this simple puzzle.
