    Happy Vegan Birthday - Huitre - Jam Entry

    New update, both versions now have a big fancy inventory icon, and should be bug-free !
    Let us know if you find anything though !

    This is a classic Point'n'Click !
    The game starts just after the heroin birthday... it's up to you to find out what'll happen then !

    Now with Android support!

    PC Controls:
    Left Click to Move/Use
    Right Click to LooK At
    I key for Inventory

    Android Controls:
    Single Tap to Move/Look At
    Double Tap to Use (in Inventory too)
    Android Menu button or Inventory on screen button for Inventory
    Android Back button for Exit Menu

    To install the Android version you must enable 'Unknown sources' in Applications Parameters.

    I'm a big fan of adventure games, so I was glad to see an entry in that category. However, I can't tell if the game is unfinished, broken, or I just couldn't figure out what to do.

    Part of the problem is the inventory seems to be broken, I can only pick up an item once in it, after that the items are still visible, but not interactable :s

    On the plus side, the graphics are great and I thought it was pretty funny. I'm kind of sad I didn't get farther in the game.

    *** Spoilers ***
    Where I got in the game: The character went to sleep, got up, wanted breakfast with more protein, pretty sure tofu has a lot of protein though ;) and let the cat in. Picked the cat up and put it in my inventory... I tried to eat the pigeon but that didn't work XD. Anyways, I couldn't think of anything else to try and the inventory bug was annoying...

    Really like the graphics, the ending was really funny, I'm normally not a fan of point and clicks but it wasn't too long kept me entertained and made me laugh. Good job.

    I didn't manage to finish the game...probably because of a bug or something because I couldn't use my breakfast out of my inventory (while I could use the cat).
    Graphics are really impressing for 48h! I love the main character

    OMG this is amazing. The graphics are stupidly impressive, and the thing is quite well done. Love the day/night-cycle and the cat.

    That being said, it does feel a bit buggy and unpolished. You do tend to get at a lot of things, objects clip through the character, lines that are supposed to be unique are repeated, and it's often not really clear what's supposed to be happening.

    Still, it's great! :)

    Still seem to have a big problem with the inventory, I tried to use the egg and the breakfast together but broke it so that I can no longer pick up the egg. incredible that all these assets were created in 3 days, there's a good reason why the graphics in my game are all either procedurally generated or made out of primitives ;)

    Pretty nice graphics but the bugs made it difficult to play even though it was short I had to restart it 3 times. Also it's offensive to cats!

    Really nice graphics and animation, couldn't finish it, managed to get the egg but I couldn't use it or the breakfast to anything. Oh well.

    Other comments pretty much sum it up: the game is insanely pretty, but also quite buggy. I ran into the same problem as @goffmog, unfortunately. It's a great piece of work, so I kinda hope there's some post-compo version on the way, with bugfixes, etc.

    Similar to other commenters: Lovely graphics but I had trouble actually playing it. I couldn't even open the inventory, as the button was absurdly tiny on my screen and I don't have a hard menu button on my phone.

    Pretty but buggy, couldn't get the breakfast to work and the character would walk through the fridge door! Path-finding is a little basic as well. Though fun game I just wish I could finish it!

    Really impressive character animation for 48 hrs. Like others I had some trouble understanding how to use the inventory. Not sure if it's bugged or what but I had to give up.

    Concerning pathfinding and collisions, we chose not to work too much on it to concentrate on the essential stuff...
    As for how a making of the character, I can try if I find the time. But nothing fancy, just the classic steps for a 3d character : drawing, modeling, rig, skin, animation, uvs, textures and shading!
    Ok, put it that way that seems like a lot.
