Magna Systems Inc. is proud to present our state of the art robotic tank. The deluxe mechanical relay-based brain is easily configurable for maximum productivity on the job site.
The Magna Systems Robotic tank has built-in memory cells allowing you to program actions into the tank for different situations. There is also a parameter panel that allows modification of several key tank parameters. With these and many other features, we're sure you'll find that it is a joy to evolve your SLT-2200R Robo-Tank into the workhorse you'll love.
The goal in this training simulation is to retrieve all gold boxes from each level and spend as little time in "Manual Mode" as possible. If you spend more time in manual mode than the level's par time, you will have to play the level again.
When a level loads it is recommended that you press the spacebar and put the tank in auto pilot mode. When a condition occurs that requires your attention, the tank will switch back into manual mode. Check the Action text at the bottom of the screen. If it is visible, it will tell you if an action needs to be recorder. To record an action, simply press 'R' until the "Mode" indicator indicates record mode. Perform the desired action, then either hit spacebar, or 'R' again to return. When an action is recorded for a condition, anytime the autopilot encounters that condition again, it will playback your recorded moves. Note: Recording an action counts towards your Manual mode time.
Controls:
<Spacebar> Toggles between manual mode and auto pilot
E: Erase a previously-recorded action. (This can be done
in either mode.)
<ESC>: Returns to intro screen
S: Restarts a level
P: Pause the game and access the tanks configurable parameters (these changes persist across levels)
In Manual mode:
Arrow Keys: Movement
F: Fire (you can kill turrets with 3 shots)
R: Record a control sequence for the currently shown action (if no action is shown, record mode cannot be entered)
Remember, each level (except the last) has a maximum par time that you must be under in order to advance.

This is a great idea, with great intro/sound. I admit I got fed up quickly on the first level, basically had to immediately press auto pilot then hope to correct quickly enough near the wall.
I really liked your intro and title screen. However, once I reached the first level things got a good bit confusing. Maybe it's just me, but I really couldn't figure out what to do. haha Good effort here, though! I love, love the sort of 50s/60s-ish feel this has.
Great intro style. I like the grainy gameplay graphics too.
The collision between the tank and gold cubes makes a satisfying sound.
"You didn't make par. Try again."
My thoughts on this game in a nutshell.
No, but seriously, I can't even get past the first level. I autopilot until it's about to hit the wall, then switch to manual, but 0.5 seconds is just way too short.
Ah, nevermind. You just have to give it a short nudge so it won't hit the wall in the first place. That's kinda clever, actually.
Awesome style, as everything else has said but for a first level it's kind of difficult, I mean, even Super Meat Boy wasn't as hard as this!
Intro is epic. But as other I just haven't figured out what to do.
Ok, it took me a long time to understand what I supposed to do... There's a decent concept here but it's a bit too frustrating now - maybe go a little easier on the par times. After all, it's not like in golf when you dont hit par you have to play that hole over and over...and over.
The Par times were arrived at by me playing quickly through the levels about an hour before the deadline, so yeah, it definitely deserved more thought than I ended up giving it.
Ambitious, but somewhat baffling. Lovely fallout-esqe intro, but wasn't sure what I was programming tank to do and only having half a second on level 1 didn't give any room for manouvre (literally). Original though, and the kernel of a potentially good game
Love the intro and the old film effect! The gameplay was a little confused at the start, but very fun!
I really liked the mood, on that it aced, but I really had a hard time understanding how the game works and actually making something... I did record and made it go on autopilot, but it just didn't follow what I did before!
very fun concept, I liked the title. took me awhile to get past the first level. An on screen tutorial would help a ton. cool idea though. I liked it
Took a bit to figure out the "manual mode" is to be flipped on only for as quick as possible to do course adjustments. After that level 1 was a breeze. Level 2 I failed until I hit P to adjust rotation speed... (cheating I guess?) Level 3 I gave up, looked impossible! Great intro and cool idea.
Great intro, great humor, but I have no idea what I'm supposed to do.
Good sound and interesting concept :) Long time to understand what should I do at the start ^^'
I really like this type of game, I've only seen so few of them. I'd like to see a version which saves your progress, or you can start at any level.
Interesting concept, but pretty confusing - I had trouble figuring out how to plan out moves for the tank, and the par time was pretty short at first as I was learning how to play. looks cool, though, and 3D is hard to get done in 48 hours.
I love the pixel art, but i feel the gameplay is still very rudimentary, please fix that and the texts ,slower please :)
thanks
i was very confused on how to play at first. i couldn't imagine how to make it in par. very interesting concept. I really like it, now that i understand how it's played =)
Interesting concept but probably shouldve been introduced more gradually, I couldn't make it past the first level.
What everyone else said, and I think there's potential here.

I like the old timey style but must confess that I had no idea what I was doing.
