I couldn't get very far, I got to the part with the turrets shooting at the ladder but it was too hard. Probably could have had a better learning curve.
Nice game, but I think the jumping is indeed a problem. It would have been easier if you would have used acceleration and velocity instead of a constant velocity.
Yeah, I've noticed this. I should have used a "dy" for the jumping... I was obviously very stressed when I made this game because it was for the Ludum Dare, so I never really felt like going into it.
When I think of it after the Ludum Dare, I feel really dumb and stupid for not doing that.
Btw, the game was meant to be really hard. I wanted to do something that could stand against "Worlds Hardest Game". It was one of my favourite games a few years ago.
Kind Regards,
Alex

Overall, I think that you have a solid basis here, but the mechanics don't match the gameplay. The jumping is obnoxiously hard - I made it to the puzzle with the second jumping ladder and guns and gave up - and I have no idea what it's talking about with respect to pressure plates.
That said, the core mechanics are definitely in place - the jumping physics feel right, and the game makes me want to explore. I think that with a bit more balance this could be a lot better.
