April 20th-23rd 2012 :: 10 Year Anniversary! :: Theme: Tiny World
** I'm french. Not an excuse but a fact. I will correct ALL THE MISTAKES after the vote. Sorry. **
** DO NOT USE "WEB (IMPROVED)" TO RATE THE GAME, THE ORIGINAL VERSION IS "WEB". **
Not really finished, but I had to submit something this time. For the 1000 :)
There isn't really an ending right now. Doesn't work :( Maybe after the vote ?
This story is inspired by the life of Marceline Loridan-Ivens. An awsome woman.
LEFT/RIGHT : Move
UP : Look at
LETTERS : Answer the questions
Hope you'll enjoy it a bit.

Edit : I'd added the source, but it's an improved version (I forget to keep an old version of it.)

"Happy birds were singing all around" ^^
The game is weird (in my mind, it means : good). You found a great way to tell a story. Of course, it lacks some polish but I was genuinely happy to play ot
NIce work there ! I like the mood in there and the main character pace.
Just a bit experimental like i love.
Thanks guys :)
I'm working right now to improve it (and correct all the mistakes :$).
Pretty dark (in the story), needs polish but... wahhh ! It makes feel different.
Unusual story for a game coupled with innovative story telling makes this game a very refreshing experience.
Thanks for that, good job there.
Even if it's need polish the overall experience is really pleasant! Nice job!
this is weird, depressing and ultimately very interesting. I'd love it if it was a bit more polished
Challenge completed !
It was hard to see if I answered right or wrong (but is there right or wrong answer really here ?), but I tried again to test different answers: we strongly feel the mood of the character, that's very well done.
(by the way.. that's strange to enter 'q' on an azerty keyboard to answer 'a')
Outstanding, one of my favorite entries so far. If only you had music! Or maybe that was intentional...
Thanks all !
I'm currently working on an improved version of the game (I will release it on Kongregate I think).
It's WIP here : http://serv003.pitoum.net/worldofmarceline/
@ilo : Yeah no fun I give you that :)
@racarate : I didn't have the time to add music. Now there is but i'm not sure it's a good thing :)
@Jack : Hope you'll like the new stuff !
@Fred : Not really a good way right now. It'll be a few different endings though.
My first thought was, "I'm a slightly less androgynous David Bowie!"
It didn't take long for that to pass. I'd love to see you do a little more with this. It's already a very deep and moving experience, a little polish would make it powerful indeed.
So, not sure how to rate this, but whatever it was you made, you did a very fine job.
Very interesting entry.
I like the approach to tell the story. I'm not sure whether you can wake up though.
Yikes, that was pretty brutal. Interesting way of examining the Holocaust.
Original with a real depth. A bit of sound (music overall) would have made it really great. Good Job.
This was a great take on the theme, and it's good to see games that aren't just games. It would be nice to see this explored a little further, but the post compo version doesn't seem to load for me.

BTW : Story inspired by Marceline Loridan-Ivens !
