April 20th-23rd 2012 :: 10 Year Anniversary! :: Theme: Tiny World
A simple game using HTML5/canvas2d/javascript. Tested in chrome, firefox, and safari. No sound in firefox.
You play as a dog that, sadly, was hit by a car while playing fetch. Now you get to spend all day running around your own little world catching frisbees with no cars in sight. There is no goal, but it does sound nicer if you catch a frisbee instead of letting it drop to the ground. Total time spent: ~13 hours
Left and right run left and right, z jumps.

the dog/frisbee never appear for me, it just sits there looking at the grass/sky forever
Raptor85 - what browser/operating system? It sounds like you got a javascript error but I'm not logging anything so I can't look into it :(
emveyh - this may not work, but trying going to www.hazzens.com (you'll get an error), then clicking the link again. A friend had DNS issues and that seemed to clear them.
Work perfectly. Nice concept and arts. A little bit disapointed that there isn't any point or count of any sort though. Really fun to play !
i'm getting audio only, but it also happened on another HTML5 game i just tried to play (chrome, macbook pro).
Such a cute little game. Good time killer. The graphics where nice and clean aswell.
The page won't load =/ Not an error, just... it seems like the server is not responding.
Using safari on Lion. If anything changes, drop me a comment and I'll check again!
Nice simple aesthetics, and the controls were actually alright :) poor dog though! :(
Unfortunately, I couldn't access the game; it said it could not find the page. I'm using Chrome on Win7
The screenshots look amazing and minimalist though, which is a style I totally dig!
I really enjoyed the ambient background music. It really set the sad mood for the game. I didn't understand the story until I read your description, it made sense though and it was quite touching. The hit box for the frisbee was a bit big, and the sound effect for that was a bit jarring. Great job!
Lovely game. I like setting and mood. Visuals are nice.
I think there should be some visual feedback for when you catch frisbee.
For those having issues, if you ever come back to the page, I added an alternate link which may work. Something is/was wrong with the DNS.
very nice game. the parallax works really nicely here. animations are fun. i wish it was a little bit harder and scored me :)
Nice start to a game. Ran bit slowly on my MacBook Pro in Chrome.
Not much game here, but I do like your graphics and sound quite a bit. Nice style.
I like the rotation a lot and the graphics and audio work well, but yes the game is not very fleshed out. Nice though!
My first thought, was "wow, harsh." It's fun running around and jumping off the hills as the dog though. I wish there was more game behind it, like you get to spend the frisbees you catch on higher stats or abilities to make catching frisbees easier.
The graphics were nice though and the controls good.
Worked fine for me on Linux with Chromium. I really enjoyed the introduction and the look of the terrain and blocky clouds.
It just lacks a little bit of a goal and gets boring fast after you ran around the small world catching the Frisbee a few times. Still very nice work for only 13 hours.
Good game for 13 hours. But if you know it isn't done enough... why didn't you jam?
like it is a circular world, but it needs a way to win and lose. Original use of the theme
Hah. Poor dog. But he's happy now right, living in a browser catching frisbees for all eternity? Liked this one a lot

I love the instructions at the start. Those first four lines almost work as a poem! I caught some stuff, don't know if it goes any further than that though.
