April 20th-23rd 2012 :: 10 Year Anniversary! :: Theme: Tiny World
I got into it a little late and put this together in the last 24 hours.
Diminutive Dungeon is a retro, generative, tiny "roguelike" role-playing game set in a total 8 tiles. The idea was to make something set in a tiny space that would be infinitely playable by giving the player character line of sight-- when areas of the map fall out of the characters vision new creatures and items get generated.

Ha, I love your interpretation of the theme. Take a popular genre of game (roguelike) and make it as small as possible. Creative and funny!
Never player a roguelike with only 8 tiles, that's a tiny world :) Had fun playing. Liked the combat texts :)
Nice game. I personally find the visual style a bit conflicted with the textures and ascii characters not quite working together.
Nice idea and good execution. :) I had trouble telling whether a weapon was better just based on its description sometimes, which was a strange play mechanic. The music was great.
Very funny title! Wet gnome haha, the text messages really made this, though I enjoyed the graphical theme and music as well. I think sprites for the creatures would be cool if not roguelike...;) Perhaps the ability to preview item stats prior to equipping? I got stuck with a lamp and it did me in. Enjoyed this, thanks
