April 20th-23rd 2012 :: 10 Year Anniversary! :: Theme: Tiny World
Created in HTML5, audio only working in Chrome, game works in Chrome, Firefox and Safari.. crashes in Opera.
So basically: use chrome for best results ;)
Used a simple HTML framework I had as base, but it got completely rewritten in the end so nothing left from any frameworks (also reason sound isn't crossbrowser, etc)

Nice simple game 5/5 (graphics, interface). I had to check source for some "tips" ;P
that's called cheating!! but I figured some would do so I named things pretty clearly in the source ;)
Loved it, amazing :) Little bit fiddly switching items once there was a lot of things on the ground, but not too bad.
Short and sweet. Nice presentation, and great timing with the dialogue. Good work!
Nice. Running around looking for items and trying to combine them in multiple ways gives me an nostalgic feeling.
Wow, this perfect in almost every way. The game was challenging, but also very fun and rewarding. The ending was hilarious!
AAAAAAWESOME! 5/5 all over the place. Funny, excellent graphics, uses the theme perfectly and great all around polish. My fav.
Good :) Shame audio doesn't work in ff, but i know thats an html5 thing, not you!
Fun game, though tricky to work out!
This grizzled cube-man makes MacGyver look bad! Your game is marvelous; thank you!
Perfect old school adventure. Most of the puzzles are funny and don't make any sense at all... but because the level is so small, it doesn't take long to stumble on the solution.
In full-size adventures I always worried that I missed some small thing hours earlier.
Nice little adventure! Gamelay feels quite good.
As far as I know WolframTunes are usable, but I don't use them as they all sound kinda same-y.
I dropped off the eldge accidentally and left both the skull and the wings up there, so I was stuck first time around.
Other than that, brilliant!
Really good! I think these small, contained environments are a great interpretation of the theme. Interesting and pretty :)
Absolutely brilliant. Hands down the best entry I have seen yet. AMAZING work! Would love to see a blog writeup of the process and things you learned. Love the art, sfx, fact that it is a html5 game. 5/5.
Simple, yet brilliant! Really enjoyed it! The great thing is that although I couldn't figure it out each piece of the puzzle straight away, the variables were limited so I could experiment with what I had to make it work!
And so funny as well!
Fun game - had to cheat and look at the code to work it out, though.
Found picking the objects up a bit fiddly sometimes when there were a few on the floor.
Shame about lack of sound on Firefox version.
I really enjoyed this game, great art, great use of theme, and I could see this being expanded upon to make an actual casual game. Really great work.
can't exit...Y u can't EXIT! i have those wings...damn it! T_T Good work
Graphics are amazing, fits the theme well, and the puzzles are fun. Nice work!
Short and sweet really is a perfect description for this one :D
Very very good overall execution! The art is particularly good :)
It's funny we did choose the same interpretation of the theme (a player imprisoned in a "tiny world").
Great job!
thanks for all the awesome response guys!
and for those who think you can't leave the cave.. you can.. you aren't done until you are out ;)
Great graphics and gameplay. Short, but you knew that ;-) I hope you do more with this, could be the start of a cool game.
Really cool little game, not sure if I liked the end but it was a great use of the theme.
really liked the cute character and cool graphics/animations. wondering here n there and figuring out stuff was interesting. brilliant end :)
Awesome! Really enjoyed it! However I did have to restart the first time as -SPOILER- the fire didn't start when I moved the glasses :( Second time worked perfectly though :D Great ending!
Really nice, short and sweet. The graphics were very well done, didn't hear any audio though but I guess that requires Chrome. Nice job!
Great game!
I liked trying all the combinations to escape, but the ending was... unexpected.
Audio didn't work on Nightly...
Woah.
So... is getting taken away by [SPOILERS] the GOOD ending? Pretty sweet little game.
Great job! Especially with getting the audio working in the browser.
Great game, thought maybe a bit too easy, because I can never solve escape games like this :) Graphics were cool and it's and interesting use of the theme.
One of the best games in the 48h compo! I like it and WILL complete it :)
Really good job.
Simple, good graphics, unexpected.
Thank you for this game. :)
You really lead me in logical circles there, but that's to be expected in a one-room adventure! Top-notch and funny to boot.
It was short but a very charming game all the same. I appreciate what you were trying to do here.
Very nice, love the polish. I couldn't figure out how to get out of the cave, will have to give it another shot when I'm not at work :)

Audio did not work for me in firefox so I switched over to chrome and everything worked fine. Fantastic graphics and feel! Pitty about the music, I think that would have added a lot. The gameplay seemed a little bit lacking. Most of the game for me was just clicking everything onto everything else to see if anything happened rather than thinking things through. Still a fantastic game overall though.
just great ! I didn't make it yet, but it's just great ! bravo !
Very polished and nice game.
Its really short, but its fun and has great art.
Really awesome work, would love to play more if you add to it.
Really good game! Nice puzzle mechanics and use of the theme. The art is great too!
Wow. This game blew away my expectations for an HTML5 game. Grade A work.
Reminds me of the Grow-games. Awesome game! If this would have been a multiscreen adventure, I would have paid for it! Super!
This is great ! Feels like point and click adventure but with more sensation of interaction.
Great fir for the theme
Fantastic entry. Little short but oh so sweet. Always love your art style.
Lovely art, great game. One of the better in this ludumdare. Didn't understand the ending but I had fun nonetheless!
Great art, great theme using, great gameplay... sure one of my favourites so far. Congrats!
Really enjoyed this one. Looks great and plays great too. Brilliant work.
Such a fantastic and fun game. I would love to see this expanded to an full-length room-by-room puzzler.
The end was… surprising. But I guess I escaped >_< It liked a lot the graphics and I wish I could hear the music (no Chrome here, but I see that you removed it anyway.) The “combine objects” has definitively a nostalgic feeling for me and it fits the theme very well indeed.
Great great work really enjoyed it and it looks awesome!
Nice combinations in this puzzler. Great Entry.
Minor touches like dirt kicking up when you jump goes a long way as well.
I really like the game, the mood and the artstyle. Very well polished. But I've been playing it for a long time and I'm stuck. People have been praising the ending and I'd like to see it though, before I can rate it =/ any tips? I don't know what to do with the [SPOILERS] Parachute and bat glider [/SPOILERS]
chambers, msg me on twitter (@orangepascal) and I can give you some hints without spoiling it here
Hahaha, loved the ending! Took me awhile to figure out the last step, but was really worth! Thanks!
Excellent. A few times I accidentally combined items without realizing it and had to go back and replay to see what actually happened.
I love this! You took the theme and made a fun little challenge out of it. Gives me something to think about for my next game jam, for sure.
Like others, I could only get the sound working in Chrome. I really like how you handled the dialogue and especially handled surprise with the player. Nice!
Solid solid entry. Wish there was music. Should have left it in there and said to hell with the IP issues. Music would have made this a 5 star entry.
Audio didn't work for me (Firefox), so until I install chrome I'm not rating it, but the rest is really great. Definitely one of the best entries.
Very good game! Good idea and good polish.
I had fun playing with!
HTML5 the future! :P
I don't have or want Chrome on my PC, and I feel I wouldn't be able to fully enjoy it without audio, let alone rate it...is there no other way to play it with audio?
@VDZ no other way right now.. guess it's like me not being able to check out your game, cause I don't have or want windows on my mac ;)
Well, that certainly was a predicament. Nice graphics, and I love the simple controls doing so much. Had a little trouble with dropping items and trying to pick up others.
Very nice game. I'm bad a this kind of games but I was able to finish it without mucho problems. Good job =).
Really good graphics. It's a tiny graphic adventure game. I liked.
Nice little adventure. I really love the look of it and how smooth the controls are. Shame it's so short.
Gorgeous pixel art on the environment! A fun single room puzzle game- I like where it goes with the theme.
I thought the item combinations the solution takes and I guess not much can be said without spoilers! I found the ending pretty funny and to be an interesting solution to the whole conflict :P It's fun!
Very nice pixel art and use of the theme.
A little bit too short and straightforward, though. But it shows quite some promise for a future full-length game.
Congratulations!
Didn't hear any audio despite using chrome :/
Anyway, It's an awesome game. Simple and awesomely polished.
Why has it taken me this long to get around to playing this game?
Nice graphics, a little too trial and error for my tastes.
Very nice! One of the best entries I've played.
Your tiny world stayed surprising and dynamic throughout.
Shame for the lack of music, but all in all a wonderful little game exactly fitting the jam theme.
Your story actually made me want to know what happens next.
I like the graphics and the idea, the tiny concept is cleverly designed and implemented.
Congratulations!
I was about to complain about not working on Opera, but I saw that you already knew that :) Nevemind, I switched to Firefox just to play your game and it was really worth it! Congratz! Love the graphics!
By far, this is the game that I most enjoyed. Congratulations!
Add my voice to the chorus. Everything was well done and very clever! Thanks for this game!
Oh heck yeah.
Great compo game. Solid graphics, good puzzles, lame funny jokes, good interaction, yeah...loved this.
Used Chrome; no audio. Not sure what's up there. I'll skip that category.
really nice idea. The design are great. With music it will be even better.
Great work :)
I'm struggling to say something that hasn't already been said. Great job. It would be cool to see more bite-sized levels of this one.
For some reason I got almost to the top of the cave and couldn't get out - not sure if I missed something or not.
Anyway, this was fun - thanks!
SO RAD! Needs audio to be perfect... unless there IS audio... but it doesn't play in Firefox or Opera.
Nice game, plays well and fits with the theme nicely too!
Cool!
Nice pixel art.
Great short game. I think it's good as it is with no more levels.
Took me a while to get the vine but the ending was totally worth it! Good work, man, awesome mini game! =)
Amazing! Could've used some sounds, but otherwise funny story and cool gameplay!

removed the background music, not sure if WolframTones allows it under their ToS.
