April 20th-23rd 2012 :: 10 Year Anniversary! :: Theme: Tiny World
Haha, I finished in time! This was very fun, but my game turned out odd. Created with GM8.1.
UPDATE #2:
This is most perplexing. If it's still causing people problems, I'll embed the sound files directly in the .exe.
Controls:
Left/Right - Walk
Up - Use/Talk
Enter/Space - Select
Esc - Exit game
F4 - Toggle fullscreen

Man, this looks awesome. Wish it were web :( (will try it on my win comp later though)
Ok that was kinda awesome - i loved exploring this little city. I'm a little confused about the ending though...
I couldn't play it :(

ERROR in
action number 1
of Create Event
for object objController:
Error defining an external function.
Windows 7 64-bit.
LOL, that was good.
"Space Meat or Regular Meat: Yes." O.o
Good concept you got going there.
I didn't understand the random world explosion though? Did I do something wrong and died or was that just how it ends?
That was awesome! I loved the kitten reference. The ending rocked!
:O what the hell?
just got weirder and weirder lol
gutted the video didn't work though, said I didn't have one, was ready for a murder movie
great look and sounds
loved the Jam cameo
I loved this. The graphics are the high point, but it has a lovely style and tongue-in-cheek atmosphere and I actually said "wow!" out loud at how the game ended. :)
I must say, the ending is a bit confusing, considering I was just going about my business... But I enjoyed the game while it lasted.
Haha excellent. Great humor, great graphics, great audio, and that text system was awesome too. well played!
This looks cool, but I got that same "error defining an external function" error. I'm on win 7 x64.
Very nice concept! Almost slapstick for all its minimalism! XD Didn't see the ending coming, but I LOLed!
Also, great atmosphere for the theme.
Congratulations!
Great graphics and sounds. There doesnt seem to be a real game, but its fun to experiment.
¡¡¿WHAT?!! HAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
I never visit again the milk shop XD!
Great man!
That was amazing. I loved every second of it, though reading the comments I don't think I got to the end! I went to every building and talked with everyone, then went home and nothing happened so I quit! I'll have to come back to it again.
Great game! Loved that :)
I didn't get to the ending - talked to everyone, did everything in the house, nothing seemed to happen... Interesting little world.
What did you use to make the sounds?
Hey dustmyte... your game really kept me going till the end. Visual style was so retro and minimalistic... that it looked great. And the ending blasted me away (you know what I mean). Really interesting little game!
Excelent. At first I wondered what I need to do so I just wasted my energy, without know that was the last day ;D
Neat. Weird, but neat :)
Very good music and well hidden kitty.
Made me laugh - another day at the dildo store. Liked the controls / UI, super responsive.
Haha, I'm delighted this game ticked yall's funny bone. Thanks everyone for the feedback!
There is just the one ending and it only ends when you've said "Yes" in all of the shops. I just ran through the two releases and they don't *seem* to be broken. It is of course completely understandable if you didn't want to drink another man's warm milk.
All the sounds were created with BFXR. I would like to upload the .bfxrlibrary file, but all the sound effects are messed up... regrettably, it seems BFXR doesn't accurately save changes made to an initial sound, which is where all the magic happens :(
Once I finish my current game, a revist/expansion of this one might be in order when I have the time for it... MEOW <3
Pretty funny game, lol'd @ the cows. Reminds me of a lot of Commodore 64 games I used to play, and a bit of the original red/blue pokemon games.
Wasnt really sure what the aim of the game was though, kinda ran out of things to do once id talked to everyone.
This is such an LD entry...and I mean that in the best way possible. :)
really cool little engine. i was totally expecting you to use it to tell an epic story. but nope, you told a super epic story with it. nice.
I don't know why, but I really liked wondering arround the world just doing random stuff. Great graphics and sound aswell.
Screenshots look great. I can't play because I don't have a Windows machine. Sorry.
Most. Disturbing. Milk Shop. Ever.
Amazing game dude, really. It's fantastic. Loved every bit of it.
I didn't get the feeling the bars in the top had any meaning and I wasn't able to swing any of them either way. Do they do anything? I liked the visual style.
Thought I already rated this one, but apparently not. Anyway, I really enjoyed this. The ending was the perfect punchline, and yet it's also quite deep. If I had to sum up the ending in five words it would probably be: "Wha? Haha haha! Oh! Ahhhh!" and you can quote me on that. :D
