I like the concept! I'm just about to publish my entry (MY KID DROPPED THE PLANET! where you either play catch with Whoville/try to destroy Whoville) and then I'll play this.
Nice game, like the punishment/reward system you got going.
Very nice use of the theme, the green head thing looked a little creepy but this game was really well done!
A lot of really unique ideas here; the snowglobe premise is clever, and the idea of being forced to move away from your target in order to aim at it turns things on their head a bit. Overall very well done and polished.
Very good! I especially liked the music and the snow globe glass breaking. My main gripe is that the gameplay and difficulty didn't really change during any of the 10 or so levels I played, so I got bored. The enemy, rock, and player graphics could also do with improvement.
This game was fun! It was also hard -- your bullets also damaging you was a great idea, though it was definitely a contributing factor to the hardness. In the end it became a race between me destroying the catapult things before my HP bar went down.
Cool idea and system. I like how the catapult rocks break the glass.
Very nice take on a classic! Love the atmosphere; the little green alien guy is so serious. :D
This game is amazing! Love how you can't move past a smashed part of the globe - and how your own bullets contribute to the smash-ing. Humor really made it!
Great game, easy to understand and play, but can get quite tricky! (It took me forever to complete level 15.) I like that the last level was really simple, make me feel like a winner. ^_^
Job well done!
Whoa There! This just gave me a massive Nostalgia burst.
Where you by any chance inspired by this? http://hol.abime.net/2463
In any case, good game! Nice and challenging. I'm giving you 5 stars on theme for the creative use of a snow globe =)
Oh man, how embarrassing... your game has a similar mechanic to my own, but yours is clearly much better.
Tough as nails. But once you learn where to do every level, it gets eaiser. Good graphics, nice music. Well made. The green dude is creepy looking.
Really good game. Pretty simple and easy to get a hold on. A little difficult, the enemies shoot a little too fast, but otherwise a really solid game. Nice work.
Great game. I liked the concept and the execution. The only part I didnt like was on a level with tall buildings if the top of the snow globe gets damaged you are cut off from half the globe and they just wipe it out.
Simple and effective concept - I like this! I love the graphics and the music is great!
I really like this one too! I thought the music was kind of a bizarre contrast to the rest of the game, but other than that, nice mechanic, nice difficulty curve, and good balance! Well done, sir!
Cool game, nice effects and music! The graphics could have been a tad more consistent tho!
I loved how the broken glass stopped movement. That led to some pretty intense situations, where I was blasting through my own buildings TO SAVE MY WORLD. =D
Love how the theme is applied to the game ;) I like how the "space invaders" are trying to get out of the globe. Really like the curve effect. I thought it clever that you have to be careful with your ammo as you tend to do more damage to the globe then the enemies.
Effin brilliant ! There is so many cool ideas in that game... AND its pretty long, well designed and funny and I'm sad for my friends. Definitely one of the very best of this LD.
Great little game! The control is tight and the visuals are very moody! I like the fact the gaps on the globe stop you.
On the other hand, it was lacking a bit of a challenge, although the difficulty ramped up nicely.
My game is somewhat similar to yours, in a way. I really should take notes! :D
Congratulations!
Nice entry, fun to play. I got a good couple laughs from the writing as well.
Wow, very nice. Audio is great. Love how my world becomes smaller as holes are broken through the globe, and that sometimes it's my own damn fault. Also, 'Aliens' reference!
Surprisingly challenging and fun game. So easy to sabotage yourself, if you're not careful. :)
Very good interpretation of the theme :) The catapult shots are maybe a little too fast to manage them properly, but the game tends to be both challenging and intense at the same time.
Good point :)
Please, add support for ARROW keys (foreign keyboards hate WASD)
Very good game. Gameplay is fun! Could be enhanced with physics.
Not sure what to say that hasn't been said yet, great interpretation of the theme into a unique mechanic!
You might consider changing the death/new level screens so they only advance when the player pushes a GUI button or so they have to be displayed for a minimum of .5 seconds before you can continue. This prevents those of us over here click spamming to save our globe from just flying past the intermission screens and wondering "what was that strange screen flicker?" =p
I liked the destruction of the globe, but I didn't like that the peasants could shoot through obstructions when I couldn't. Also, on level 5 I had nearly fully health but it said I failed, I'm not sure why.
quite nice. clever idea, nice art, good sound. the game is a bit flat as far as ramp goes, but really strong core. i love the way the building blocks of the houses react to your shots. very tactile.
Took the first try to figure out that shooting willy-nilly was not a good plan. Really well polished, and even though the main character is a bit freaky looking it was fun to play. Nice sense of humour too :)
Surprisingly rich game for such a small concept, but at the same time the levels get hard very quickly. Perhaps it would help if there were powerups, or strategically placed targets such as explosives to help you out?
Interesting gameplay. I missed more feedback on collisions though, like explosions.
P.S. All your friends played my game too.
Nice concept. The fact that your shoots also destroy the globe makes it quite interesting to play. There's definitely more depth to it than I noticed at the first glance :-)

amazing game I like the concept and the fact that your shots also contribute to the destruction of the globe. Very well done
