April 20th-23rd 2012 :: 10 Year Anniversary! :: Theme: Tiny World
A game done thanks to Impactjs engine and the book "Introducing HTML5 Game Development".
I have learnt a lot in just 48 hours :)
The game is a platform game in an "Tiny" world ;)
Enjoy it!

Nice game, felt really polished. I really liked the art. Keep it up :)
Thanks for your feed back!
I have done it a bit difficult for get all the checkpoint but is not imposible! :^P.
Just look at the final picture with care ;);)
I enjoyed it, I wish there was a bit more, but such is the downside of the 48 hour compo. The jump noise made me quickly hit mute though.
Pretty decent. I died a few times for no apparent reason - not sure what that was about.
Thanks again for the feedback, I know about the jump sound hehe. I should turn a bit down.
hulahulahest can you tell me where?
In this game only can be die by the touch of the enemies.
There is a "gears of war" health status implemented.
If you wait a few seconds the life is recovered.
Thanks again!
That was really fun, especially if it was your first project in a new language - it's one of the better platformers I've played in this compo! The graphics have a lot of character to them and the physics feel just right.
Pretty good entry - but for the main comp you should upload your source code.
Jeffalisk the source code is easy to see, You only have to open the console of the browser that you are playing with.
Any wait, Can I edit the entry without lost my ratings and votes???
Thanks in advanced
I liked the idea, and the weapon switching was fun, but the twist at the end really didn't surprise me, though I suppose that is because the graphics clearly conveyed "you're in a body."
I also found the grammar to be a little off, but that's not a big deal.
Cool little game, especially for being your first with a new language... Well done! My main criticism is the sound as the jumping really got on my nerves, but the rest was really solid.
Nice game. I think your graphics looked very nice. The weapons were fun to use and your level designed supported nicely all your mechanics.
The jump-noise is obnoxious though and this would so much better with some background music.
Also a little suggestions on key placement. X,C and space are all easily reachable, but pressing TAB is a bit of a hassle from such configuration.
Total score: -52. I take shortcuts through my brain. Good game, nicely executed. I had that book but my cats destroyed it... sad.
The graphical style was good, I liked the background effects. This entry could have been greatly improved with just a bit of music.
Funny to play, but I don't see the point of the basic gun, it is really useless. And jumping sound is reaaaally upsetting. Anyway the gameplay is pretty good, the idea for giving the player information is good even though it's very classic.
Score: 3320, Time: 638, Kills: 33, Deaths: 2, Total checkpoints: ALL, Total Score: 2682. Yes, I feel tiny now. Pablo, it is really nice game. Your game has exactly the same name as mine. ;) But you already know this. BTW, do you want small tip how to pass the second map?-)
Thanks again for all the feedback!.
bastiandantilus, you should get it again! Perhaps you should buy ebook instead of phisical books hehe.
Suese you are right, actually the game has main music but at last version I remove iy by betatesting but I forget to add back! haha
Pavel, yes please! How can I pass the second map and Can I kill the "spore"? hehe
Thanks again!
:) Pablo, here is small tip: You outside, "Spore" inside. "Spore" is not well known enemy. Even I don't know if you can kill it or what is its name. BTW, I found a secret passage in your game!-)

Pretty fun! I liked the two weapons and the art worked pretty well. I didn't think there was quite enough feedback to see that I was getting damaged by my own shots until I actually died though. Great work for 48 hours.
I'm glad to see another ImpactJS game around here. I think It's an amazing tool, I felt like I could see trough your code like I've made it myself. Surely you'll feel the same way playing my game :P Good theme aproaching and platform designing!
This game was pretty fun apart from the too loud jumping sound that made it a bit annoying.
The position of the weapon change was too far and I ended up doing all the game with only one weapon.
Thanks again.
GreyShock yes it´s amazing and so easy to work with it. I´ve play the game and it´s very good as well ;)
Naouak thanks, but maybe with the second weapon you can kill the enemies faster and reach the finish before with less time.
P.D: How can I put a avatar on my profile?
Thanks in advance.
Completed, nice work. Using tab as the weapon switch felt a bit awkward though,
I like how some of the instructions only came after losing a couple of lives first :)
Pablo, you have to use gravatar.com or your WordPress account if you have one (under the same email you used for registration here on the LudumDare page). Gravatar and WordPress use one database. I am really interested what will be your next game on the next LD48. ;)
daredevildave yes lot of people have said the same, perhaps will be better with space.
orangepascal I dont understand you, The instructions shows when you pass through a poster.
Thanks Pavel Dlouhy! I have change the avatar! Thanks!. And yes, I liked the Ludum dare idea, therefore I will be here the next one ;)
Short enough for the lack of variation not to matter. Some strange bugs like jumping through walls and text that never clears.
Thanks for your rating, which text never clears?
Some jumping through walls are intentionally :P
Thanks!
I don't mean the one-way walls - go left from the start point and then up, you'll see what I mean. Looks like some tiles are misplaced, causing collision glitches.
And about the text bug, I can't seem to reproduce it, it only happens randomly and goes away by respawning.
Good job! Like how the character could make a Double Jump! Change weapons too. That was really neat. The audio was repetitive, adding music would have been great (I know time probably didn't let you!) I could see this as a whole game that develops inside the human body or something like that, overall seems really really solid and complete.
It seems a little unfair that it takes like a gazillion shots to kill the enemies but a single touch makes me die. The graphics and the sounds were great, but it didn't take me long for me to get bored.
Well done game. The game name could be more innovative.
Thanks for the last feedback.
Can I do all those improves and add it such as other link on the post?
Thanks!
Really liked the bounciness of the shots, made me spend some time trying to hit the enemies with my back to them hehe.
Very enjoyable apart from the high pitched jump sound :)
Pablo, can you be more specific please? I can't understand your question ("Can I do all those improves and add it such as other link on the post?"). ;)
Really polished for a 48-hour game. I found it a bit repetitive. The final surprise was brilliant :-) Well done!
I means if I can add one new version of the game in this post.
You know?
Thank soy_yuma!
Yes, Pablo. As far as I know you may edit this post and add new version of your game but it should be marked as post Compo version. And you should encourage people to play new version AFTER they play and rate your Compo version. ;) See for example entry of netmute (uid is 11213). He added new version and named a new link this way: " 'After compo' version (Don't rate this) "
Thanks again Pavel :)
So I will add all the feedback in a new version :)
Liked how you figure out that you were inside a brain the whole.
The jump noise started to grate on me after a while. Nice little platformer, very pretty. The enemies could have used some work, too easy as of now.
The graphics look really pretty, and shooting feels just right. : )
Very cool, better (more fluid and stable) than my try with impactjs ;-) The sound gets a little bit anoying though .. :-)
Congratulation, Pablo. I think for the first Ludum Dare it is not a bad result! I was able to reach only 50% of Coolness (also my first time). How many games did you rated?
Hello Pavel, you got better rating! Congratulation for you as well!
I have rated more than 100 games and I have got less than 60 rates :P
Anyway, for my first ludumdare have been awesome :)
See you the next Ludum dare! :)

Great! I thought the two weapons were a nice touch. They felt balanced. I only got 6/12 checkpoints my first time, then I had fun playing again and getting all 12. I did appreciate the surprise at the end. That was clever.
