Culven is a sandbox themed RPG game, it consists of 4x4 sprites(a few exceptions) and has very retro-like gameplay, it features auto-saving, particle effects, Animated water, a very large world, 3 types of monsters, collectibles, a menu-screen, Dynamic Leveling/Damage System, Dungeons, Aweomse Lighting system, Pixel Art galore.

The gameplay is very buggy, the second dungeon wipes your score D:

Audio was nice, controls could've been a bit better(with diagonal movement), moving through the dungeon was a bit of pain sometimes.

Difficult enough to keep me playing for enough to explore the whole mainland, couldn't go across the sea because the boat is buggy :D

Good job on UI design and the lighting system, although there were lighting bugs in the map view in dungeon. Very nice main menu! (help screen could've been made better with anything else than Game Maker's builtin F1 :P)

As is said in the other comment I think the controls are a bit clunky and diagonal movement could really add to the game. The attack was also a bit hard to work with, perhaps it could have some more range on it. The only other thing that didn't really click with me was the openness of the level design as it overwhelmed me somewhat. Other than that I thought this was pretty cool. The simple graphics worked well and the audio was quite nice. Good work getting so many features added in the time limit!

I liked a lot. Nice old school graphics and nice music. Good job!

Ok I guess. Controls felt a bit awkward, the graphic style was ok but seemed a bit inconsistent. The help was hard to read.
