April 20th-23rd 2012 :: 10 Year Anniversary! :: Theme: Tiny World
A little game about an astronaut, imprisioned on a very small planet. The theme here is more about the small and claustrophobic level design then the story.
Gameplay inspired by Sokoban, Goof Troop, Quackshot and suteF.

(After the 48 hours)
I added a mute button and fixed a minor bug on the barrel collision after the jam. I hope that's Ok, but anyeay, the Dropbox version is still the original one.

Really enjoyed this, great sprite-work and mechanics, interesting music as well.
Loooove the weapon switching mechanics. That plus the key system is giving me serious DOS game vibes.
Really awesome work. Very well envisioned/put together.
Really well put together. Good game, the last level was a little tricky to find, but not too much, well done !
I don't see much the theme here though.
Oh shit this is good. Polish just oozes out of it. Commercial quality.
The puzzles were fun to solve, the music was really good, though the music loops a bit too noticeably. The graphics and effects are crisp and pleasant to look at.
Really nice puzzle platformer! :D
Awesome! =) Great graphics, very comfortable controls, great level design, smooth animations. Gorgeous work! =)
Polished enough to eat off of, and the later levels especially really exercise the gun and box mechanics!
Wow, fantastic polish, great level design and fun mechanics. Amazing!
Incredibly polished! The level design is really good, as are the animations, the weapon mechanics, the mood, the controls.
What a strong entry! Beautiful graphics, interesting gameplay ... audio is very well done, but could use slightly longer loops. Loved the variety of sfx.
I love this game! Great job, always nice to see such great entries using FlashPunk.
Congratulations on the result! It is amazing that this game was made in a 48-hour event. The level of detailment and the solidness shows you were able to manage the project very well. I hope I'll be able to make games this well-polished in the future.
As far as I know, platforming puzzles with multiple levels like this usually take a lot of time to make, but you managed not only to do all the programming and art but also made quite aa variety of clever level designs. I think there's not a single level that felt unnecessary for the pacing or stupid, which is rare nowadays even in commercial games.
It definitely looks like a game I'd pay to play, so I couldn't help but feel like there should be more levels and infinite x more weapons, as if I had forgotten it was actually made for a 48-hour competition.
In my first playthrough I found the last level too easy compared to the precious ones and felt a little disappointed. But weirdly enough, I played the game again in order to rate it and I got stuck in that level, falling for both of the traps you laid involving explosive boxes.
As a closing comment, a longer version of the game with more guns would be awesome (especially if it had a teleport gun =P) The only thing I didn't like was that the "Tiny World" theme could have been better explored. Except for that, the game is 10/10!
Also, funny thing you mentioned Goof Troop. I finished it last weekend. Good game, the very last puzzle was a pain in the ass to solve (also, quack shot FTW)
Lots of polish, =great= level design given that is an LD (I've tried to design puzzles during an LD timeframe, I hated the experience). Game length was just about right too! Great example for all LDers to learn from.
*applauses* Yet again, saint presents us with this marvelous little piece of work here. Very nice mechanics, cool graphics, smooth gameplay... whoa...
Congratulations.
I love the plunger gun! Reminds me of Quackshot! for the Sega Genesis.
Whoa, really stunning game made in 48 hours. Nice gameplay, graphics and audio, well done!
Amazing game! The graphics were beautiful and the level design was really clever. Loved all of the "Out There Somewhere" references. Overall amazing game. Five stars!
Some neat elements and good level design for the short period of time. I thought longer musical loops would have been nice to fit the mood more.
Great platform puzzler. The guns feel well-considered and nothing feels redundant. The sprites and sounds feel substantial and make the world feel tangible, which is nice. I didn't really think the text was necessary; visual and aural feedback was enough to teach me about the different blocks and guns. Love that the slippery blocks were not explained. Great sky colors; I love that mauve.
Sweet - nice little puzzle platformer. Really solid controls, interesting puzzles, good music & graphics. Nicely done sir.
For a 48 hour entry to have this kind of polish in every aspect is just... amazing. Congratulations on the great game :)
Really nice game, it's got a good level of polish and being a complete game. Also good you found time to do level design. I got stuck on "I hope I'm near the escape pod". The music does get a bit annoying after a bit. I'm sure this game will do well over all!
Just like the last one you did, it feels very complete. However, after Frostbite, I was hoping for a more innovative experience. Well done, though.
Really enjoyed playing ths game ! Such quality (idea, gameplay and environnement) in this small amount of time is incredible !
Very nice graphics
Very good puzzles
Nice loops
This whole thing feels very polished to me.
All around high marks. Nice level design, the tutorials and concepts are introduced in a great order. I got stuck on the level with the white blocks though, couldn't figure out what to do. But the music was great, animations were great, gameplay was fun and classic platformer. Can definitely tell it's in your genre wheelhouse.
p.s. Looks like you have quite a following, 10k plays on Kongregate already! Nice!
Great mechanic, great controls, great level design. Well polished. Nice one.
A marvel.
With a button to restart the current level when we are blocked it will be even better.
Great work :)
Really cool atmosphere and fun puzzles. Was looking forward to the final showdown with Zardon.
Very good! The puzzles kept me playing for quite a while until I finished the game, and they were tricky to solve too! I like the variation of the different tools. There was character to the story, and the music and sounds were well done. Graphics are lovely too, very retro!
Very good! The only improvement would be if the character sprite changed depending on his current gun, aside from looking better, it would prevent me accidentally detonating an explosive barrel when I thought I had the grapple gun =D
Great game overall, but I'm not feelin' the theme too much. Great level design and puzzles, and your aesthetics are incredibly pleasing. Good work!
