Was hoping for some climbing puzzles or something involving the iron blocks, but I think I just held up+right for the whole thing. Quite charming though, and I enjoyed talking to the people along the way.
A minimalistic game, but a nice story! congratz on first ld
Do more with this! Love the graphics. Just need more gameplay. Great job though.
That text is really hard to read in that colour!
I couldn't see it initially, started the game just by mashing the keyboard and then had to go through the whole keyboard to find which button was "talk".
A bit void of gameplay or anything innovative, but it was interesting.
I loved the meta aspects. I really felt I was exploring Ludum Dare : a tiny world where everybody's nice :)
An interesting journey. They really seem to like hallways those tiny little persons. :)
I liked the pixel art and talking to the tiny people.
Some more gameplay elements would be great, like helping the tiny people, or trying not to crush them, however I did enjoy just progressing along to see what the next little man had to say :)
Sometimes it's about creating the experience, amiright?? Nice job on the graphics and funny dialog :D
Nice mood. A bit shoort. Some challange would have been nice. Great job!
Far, far, more story than game. I've been guilty of that myself, though.
The concept is fun and the aesthetics are alright, but the game needs more conflict either with enemies of some sort or the environment itself. If not that than make the climbing more fun somehow. I felt like I could power through the entire game by holding right and up. When you introduced iron you had a really good opportunity to add some interesting climbing puzzles, but nothing really came of it.
All that said, cute game, those little guys have spunk, and the idea of a giant landing on a tiny world is pretty cool, I just wish it were fleshed out a little more.
Great job for a first entry, I actually felt compelled to try to reach the end and talk to every tiny character. All it needed was some challenge to make it a perfect first entry! Welcome to Ludum Dare, hope you stay with us for future editions!
Graphics are really cute and dialogs are good AND interesting, which is key with such an amount as this!
Rather boring, and the ending was extremely anti-climactic. I liked the climbing mechanic though, wish you had explored it more.
Amusing dialogues, nice game in general. Graphics are okay. Not complaining here, but a background would have come in handy in making the game prettier. Also, can we hope for a more thoroung use of the climbing mechanic on a future release? It felt pretty smooth, and was really fun!
Could have done more with it, was definitely interesting though.
Dialogs gradually built a nice mood. I also liked the message and the little story.
For a post-compo version I'd like to see more gameplay.

I miss some more gameplay, but apart from that its pretty nice!
