I attempted to play the game, but as soon as I move the cursor over one square away, it gets laggy and unresponsive. Same thing happens if I create a building.
It doesn't work in Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. I had to run it in compatibility mode (Windows XP SP3) for it to work. Can't say I understand what is going on either.
I had the same difficulties as uprightpath-- as soon as I build a building, the game becomes extremely slow and unresponsive. The towers do not seem to fire effectively (the enemies stampeded right over them).
i had the feeling all i could do was wait till i slowly die. ltoo bad though, it looked great. hint: add the console logs to the game itself, as ingame texdt. also, show the current money somewhere :/
I Will fix this as soon as possible, I am not having these problems on my laptop, so I will see what I can do. Sorry for this!
Has anyone tried to run it in admin?, Also for people having trouble downloading it: In Google Docs, goto file, download.
PS : Does anyone know if there are any compatibility issues with sfml 2.0?
Oh, and If the waves stop before wave 50, it's game over, I forgot to add the text, also, I havn't figured out how to get text in the window, or atleast the score. This was my first game released in sfml, so sorry if there is anything wrong!
I got it to run in Windows 7 x64, but slowly. Running in XP-Compatibility mode seemed a little faster, but the cursor still moved oddly.
My defenses seemed completely ineffective, without much feedback as to why.
I liked the graphics.
Again, Im sorry for all the problems, I am not getting any of them on all the computers I have tested so I can't for the life of me figure out what's wrong. I wish I could fix this, I truely do.
