April 20th-23rd 2012 :: 10 Year Anniversary! :: Theme: Tiny World
You have a boat, and it has a rocket booster on the bottom! What better thing to do than cause senseless destruction to random property and military vehicles?
Your (self set?) mission is to destroy all cities on each of the 5 planets as fast as you can because why the hell not?
-- Instructions --
Right to move clockwise, Left to move anti-clockwise. Use the mouse to fire missiles. If you get stuck failing a jump, press enter to suicide.
The further your mouse is when you shoot, the more power goes into the shot!

The graphics are great, and the bouncy physics are fun.
The control scheme is the only weak point, which has already been covered.
Great work!
Very nice idea here! The controls are not that great, but the rest of the game shines.
The graphics are awesome, the concept is good, the music correct, the control is slightly difficult but ok. Good work.
Thanks for the feedback! I can agree with the control woes, I even got a bit confused when the boat was upside down! I'll try to think of something.
Excellent game, great execution and great ambient :)
I don't like the "left/right=turn CW/CCW" controls, but it's not too imptorant.
Maybe some kind of mouse control? Autofire and click to move to the cursor?
The score/HUD might be a bit much, but the game looks great! The gameplay's pretty fun, but I don't feel very much in control during jumps, which makes getting stuck pretty frustrating. The fact that your movement affects your shots makes aiming pretty tough, too.
The music, sound and mood are also great fun. Well done, overall :).
epic graphics... also the game concept is funny, and the physics too! good job!
Really good game, nice controls, good graphics, it has everything! Good job!!!
Very well done! I really like how the UI is worked into the level design.
Cool game but I would have played longer if there was no timer.
Cool concept, graphics, audio, gameplay.
Only the controls should be refined but you really did it. this game rocks :D
It's pretty fun and fits the theme well!
The controls could use a bit of work, like others have said. I'd make it a bit easier / more intuitive to shoot further. You can arc the shots if you click further away from the planet, but I didn't realize that for a while.
"You can arc the shots if you click further away from the planet, but I didn't realize that for a while."
Oops, forgot to mention that in instructions. :I
To use mouse and keyboard at the same time was too difficult for me but I liked the art and the music so much!
Really good, shows pretty well what Stencyl can do. Works otherwise very well but jumping around the islands was hard and the music was very irritating but I guess that's just matter of taste.
Wow, amazing work! The bouncy boat is hilarious. Very fun to play. My only complaint is the time limit. A bad score would be enough punishment for being slow.
You do get a score bonus for being fast, but yeah after having my testing sessions cancelled a few times instant timer murder might not have been the best idea.
Amazing use of the theme! One of the games I most played on this LD :)
Realy fun and great art, i wasn't thinking stencyl can provide such of circular physics
The physics are fun, art is lovely. Great work!
Didn't finish it, because i'm "too slow".
Took me a few seconds to realize I wasn't on a title screen and the game had started :) Nice look and original theme! A little hard to master.
Fun! Though I'm another person not to realise I was meant to aim upwards to arc the missiles :)
Fits the theme nicely. Loved the graphics and the music. As it's been said already the only weak point is the control scheme. I enjoyed your game. Good job dude.
Great looking game here! Well done. Nicely polished and fun too!
As mentioned, it's a little bit hard to control but you get used to it! :D
Really neat game! Firstly I have to say I love the visuals. They're fun, bright, and really well detailed. The controls were a little slippery in the sense that moving left or right REALLY moved me left or right. (Then again, they ARE boats....) Great job!
even though this was made with stencyl, I'm still thoroughly impressed by this. good job.
Is that meant to be a bad thing? I still scripted everything in the same way you would with a text based language.
Great work. As with others, I had issues with the control scheme, but other than that excellent!
The sheer amount of polish for this game makes my eyes hurt. I wonder how much time you spent on concept and implementation vs just making it look and feel great. :) The game itself was way too difficult for me, though.
Looking forward to an easier version with improved controls.
I really liked this entry, it was fun, simple clean and addictive. Well done! :)
Really awesome graphics and physics, and just good overall design. The visual style is really appealing.
Very cool :) The style and idea are very nice. I did have a bit of trouble with the aiming, though, and always got stuck several times on level three. Also, I think either thirty seconds is a bit too tough, or I'm just too slow :) I ran out of time on every go without fail.
This is a lot of fun! It looks amazingly professional and the music is superb. The level of presentation for 48 hours is incredible and very easily at a professional level.
I like how frenetic it is, it seems to me like the start of a fun smartphone game! If I made a suggestion for tweaking the controls, perhaps combinations of keys would make you start moving towards one of the 8 cardinal directions- holding straight down could make you go towards the south pole, be it clockwise or counter-clockwise. Up+left could make you move towards northwest, etc. I think WASD movement (and equivelents for azerty keyboards) would also make the game a bit easier to control. This is all just some advice if you plan to expand it in the future, of course- I think it is a marvelous game as it stands already!
Great effort and great result!
Incredible graphics. I too had a hard time figuring out the controls. It was also very clever combining the HUD/time/score into the level design the way you did. It took me a couple of deaths before I realized I was even playing the game and should have been controlling the boat :)
I like the fast-paced action of the game. The controls were a bit dodgy, but the music brought a big smile on my face. A juicy explosion would bring even a bigger smile. A multi player version would make my smile go around my head :)
Nice art! Really eye catching. The bounciness was pretty fun to play with. the clock-wise/anti-clockwise motion was kind of tough to get used to though, especially when you're on the underside.
Nice graphics, sounds and idea, but the controls are a bit confusing.
Great physics which account for 90% of the fun of the game, but it's way too hard! Couldn't make it past level 1 :P
wow! So much done in so little time. One of my favorites so far, that's for sure!
The controls are a little weird for right handed people using qwerty layout (left hand on the right side, right hand on the right side) and it is hard to judge the acceleration, but other than that it is a very nice game. Great graphics and music.
Amazing graphics. And Mochi integration? That's crazy!
A little hard to figure out what to do. I thought you had to shoot all the boats, so I did, and it said I was too slow?
Probably the most fun part was bouncing over the little hills. That's awesome, and I don't know why.
Nice work!
Fantastic execution! The graphics are cute and awesome, and the theme was spot-on :) Top marks
Very well put together. Awesome music and fun gameplay! My only complaint is that it is hard to aim with the boat moving around as much as it does.
Better than most Jam entries I have seen so far. It has everything from graphics to slick, fun gameplay. I love this entry and I urge you to keep it up on LD 24!
Cool but a little too confusing the first time I played. Nice gameplay!
This game has nice graphics and a charming music, awesome! The only bad point i can think of is the controls side: It was difficult sometimes to get past obstacles.
Love the game! But I'd prefer to use 'A' and 'D' for the left and right, as I'm more used to that scheme. Great game. Thanks!
Awesome game! I think the thing I liked the most was the nice merge between the sound and the game, but the whole game is quite good :)
At first I didn't see what I was, I thought I was the planet (¿?) and when I finally realize it and killed both ships with 2 seconds left, I died! Anyway it's way too polished for a 72 hs. game, graphics are awesome. Congratulations!
Really cool play style and very polished graphics and music. I feel I need to put some more time in before I can master it.
There is certainly a lot to love about this game, but the controls just didn't gel with me. Everything else is pretty darn great.
While the presentation, physics and overall idea are good, the controls and ui are annoying.
The gameplay was pretty fun. Apparently I did not figure out exactly everything I was supposed to do, as I destroyed all the other boats, but still ran out of time and lost. Otherwise nicely done!

You've set the bar for LD23 IMHO. Any game better than this is pure awesome.
My only (tiny) concerns were the difficulty curve (I made it to level 2 on try 2, but ran out of time too quickly) and the control scheme (it makes intuitive sense in code, but not in play). But these sorts of problems are what normal games spend way more than 48 hours fixing. =) Great work!
