    Mr. Dibbins and the Island of Lore - TehWut - 48 Hour Compo Entry

    Yes. this game is terrible, if you do happen to play it please have mercy on my soul. This was also made by myself.

    I ran completely out of time, so now combos don't work, and the enemies aren't animated among other things. I planned to have different enemy types and a half decent movement system but oh well.

    **known bug** You can't jump, move left, and punch at the same time, hampering the combat

    -press G to punch
    - arrow keys or WASD to move
    - a 10 + combo will perform a POWER STRIKE!!
    -stay in the air and hit to earn combos! touching the ground will null your combo!

    You are Mr. Dibbins, a lone yeti on a single island, guarding his treasure chest. Suddenly, a bunch of red yeit's attack! (great right?)
    -Stop the Red Yetis from stealing your chest.

    so yeah....I almost think my last submission was better. Luck next time I guess

    A fighting/beat-em-up game, cool. Loved the concept. Dude, you better finish this game because I think it can be a good game if you polish the mechanics and improve the graphics. Also a good bgm would be great. I quite enjoyed your entry.

    This isn't terrible. It's just buggy.

    You have a sense of humor. The game is funny. Mr. Dibbins' animations are funny. The crazy inexplicable setting is funny. The font is funny. The title is funny. The airdropped enemies are funny.

    If I'm already that amused, all you need to do to make this awesome IMO is make it so that punching works and you don't get stuck on enemies, and have the enemies die a ridiculous death after enough punchingness. This is only partly broken, not boring. Boring is harder to fix.

    Imma rate you now, and I bet it's not as bad as you think. But yeah, you should probably work on LD stuff on Friday nights.

    The player movement was too crazy, would have liked it to be tighter. Combat suffered because of this as well. It's a good idea though!

    Everything you said is right...I really wish I got the combat to work just a little bit better.

    I might also work on an "apeshit" edition that will take advantage of the erratic combat system, hopefully
