by Galaxy613 - 48 Hour Compo Entry

A neat little space defense game. Try to protect your home planet for as long as possible! It has 3 difficulty modes but the basic gameplay is thus: your ships are completely out of your control, but you CAN choose what area around your planet they patrol when you build them! Just click the waypoint you want to send newly built ships and then click the buttons on the sides!

This is my first LD48 game, so thanks for looking! Special thanks for everyone on the IRC, Pkeod, Dorth and other people who gave great suggestions! :D

Good game, perhaps it would be great if the UI doesn't move from a side to the other.
Good job!

I sent all of my fighters to beta and let delta perish. I hate delta. really fun, actually enjoyed having to figure out how to play it as you go. Dug the music as well!

Awesome! The UI was a little intimidating at first, would've probably be nicer to have the buttons that are at the side, pop up under the currently selected zone, but once I worked it out, it wasn't too bad! Fun little game, nice idea! The retro art style was nice too :D

Wow! I honestly didn't expect such a satisfactory experience! Like others have said, the UI confused me during the first few seconds, but soon I figured out what was what I had to do and I think this is easily one of the few games I could see myself playing regularly, and I did kept playing for a pretty good while (actually, the time I had to wait for the next wave to come started being a little bit too long, I think). Definitely one of my favorites, and I can even think of friends I'd recommend this game to (and I will!). Brilliant job!

Like others have said, a bit more polish with the UI would be great. I found that even though I deployed ships to a certain sector they wound up far away from that point. Really liked the ship designs and it was a fun experience.

Cool game. Things got hard when the enemy frigates arrived.

Pretty neat area defense game. I like the fact that the frigates have turrets that are semi-independent.

Great game! I echo the UI complains, but I loved the art style and the ambient.

Love the vector graphics but they eventually brought my tablet to its knees :p

Gameplay seemed fairly easy at first and then suddenly it was game over! Was quite fun for the duration, though. Nicely done. Work out some of the performance issues and gameplay rampup and I could easily see this selling on the market.
