Really enjoyed this! The presentation is great, especially how the music and visuals change from day to night. The first time it rained and left a puddle put a smile on my face. I would have liked to do more things with the volcano, but everything else is excellent.
For the speedrun-inclined, it is (at least in theory) possible to accomplish the final task before the first dawn. I haven't managed it yet though. Anyone up to the challenge? :)
Aha, just got it! Takes a lot of attentiveness, efficiency, and careful planning -- though not luck; as a special case, rain is always forced to happen on the first night. Consider it a present for the speedrunners. ;)
A very good take on the whole block/square based game with the combination of various objects in order to progress. If you continue making this into something bigger, I'll definitely want to check it out, if not, I had a pretty good time playing this.
I totally love this game! really cool crafting(combining) system, super duper graphics, cool music.. And you can grab clouds!?! This is just pure AWESOME xD good job!
The graphics are really pixelly and pretty at the same time. Sound is pleasant too, and I enjoyed most of the time I was there.
I've made numerous crates, and have so far as of yet been unable to actually get them open. I might be missing something there, but otherwise, I was quite alright with that. It seems I've gotten the hang of growing trees.
Ok this is awesome.
I played it without sound some hours ago, and came back to be sure this game is perfect. It is ^^
But this is hard too...I only discoverd how to trees, special trees, make crates and chests...YET!

I would play a longer game on this concept (but not too long, not a minecraft/terraria thing, the exact same game on this tiny island, but with a lot more materials to find and things to do)
I love this game, such a relaxing experience and flawless mechanics
Brilliantly fun game!
Nice graphics and sound, too.
Very creative gameplay.
This reminds me of the SkyBlock challenge for Minecraft, but in 2d, cuter and in 48 hours. Loved it :D
Fun once you get the hang of it, but it's not very intuitive to pick up. There is also potential for a lot of waste from trial and error... But I did manage to finish it. :)

It may be that I was unable to discern much of what was necessary to do the things you suggested in the description, but I did throw the moon into a volcano, so this is more or less the best thing ever.
Great sounds, too!
Got frustrated by how fast clouds disappear. But yeah, very fun little concept here and cute game.
I grew two types of trees but that's about it. I absolutely cant fathom how to make crates or anything out of stone or wood. A walkthrough or some hints somewhere would be appreciated
Looks nice, but i have no clue what i am supposed to do. I can make chests but i can't open them. I can plant seeds into clouds, but they just dissapear short after. huh? o.O
Had fun playing this game, but I just don't have the patience to try everything out ;)
Overall this was a good game, thought I didn't accomplish much :/
A few small hints would be awesome... although I don't think Alchemy had any hints so... whatevs.
Good job, dude!
AMAZING game.
I'm not sure if there was a goal, but even *without* a goal this was incredibly fun. You seriously need to develop this further. I can totally this being an incredibly awesome game.
Maybe something like creating shapes and sharing your creation. Or imagine how awesome it would be for two people to building something simultanously.
Oh also, I kinda have the game left open just to listen to the soundtrack.
Fun! I totally cheated (who opens crates that way???) but regardless, good concept, theme and awesome music!
The water acts oddly though, the rain flooded an area I had made between a rock and an empty jar... the water couldn't flow around the jar? It destroyed a seed I had planted :(
Such nice polish. Very well done.
Some things are really hard to figure out though.
I like the graphics and mood. I can't figure out how to make anything happen! I put the water on the fire and it still goes? Are there clues in the game?
Great graphics, great audio, great overall presentation. I think having the goals in game somewhere would improve the overall experience.
Aww, this is lovely! Gameplay feels punchy, and the music fits beautifully. Droping down is a bit trial+error though, I plummeted down 6 times before hitting it again.
Very nicely done, even without knowing what to do I thoroughly enjoyed just moving blocks around.
Very cute little game and great basic idea. Unfrotunately I had to look into the walkthrough to find out what to do.
It lacks some more content but well done for a 48 hours entry.
very innnovative n cute game. I guess it lacked some feedback on actions. it was sure was is a tiny world! nice job :) liked the way we cud fall endlessly.
The visuals and weather are so beautiful! Although I had to watch the video to know what to do. That's a pity for such a little game.
Reminds me of my entry "Bunnies back into your cage", but you improved some things I didn't solve that smothely (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srfwlTqbwLs).
Little bit hard, but lots of fun! Awesome art (graphics and sound). :)
One of the best I've played so far. It takes a lot of exploration to figure stuff out, but it's very rewarding when you do. Graphics are very nice and the music-transitions are a really nice touch.
Wow, this is likely to be my favorite game of all, very nice concept and very well polished, though in order to be fun it really needed the walkthrough. My only criticism is that most transformations aren't very obvious - but I guess trial & error gameplay was what you were going for. Thanks for this amazing game and thanks for the walthrough! I wouldn't be able to sleep tonight if I hadn't finished the game.
Really loved the "crafting" system, simple and useful. I had to use the walkthrough to complete the game though. I wish there was something given as a reward for destroying your little world with the victory diamond :)
Amazing game! just... awsome all around.
One of my favorites no doubt. Congrats!
Really neat game. I loved the graphics. It's not for me though, as there's a lot of trial and error, but I really like the idea.
Graphics are great and the overall ambience is very well made.
Sincerely great job :D
I feel like I'm missing something because I didn't really know what to do. I like the idea of using different blocks to create new elements, I just wasn't sure where to go from there. Great visuals and everything works perfectly though, so this is good work for 48 hours.
Cool! Nice and relaxed, and I liked the sounds, but why a dinosaur?
It's pretty fun, definitely. I like the control scheme and how you get around (it was a good decision to implement falling off the bottom and then reappearing on the top!).
It gets to be pretty frustrating, though. The appearance of water appears to be completely arbitrary. I couldn't get one to appear for a long time, then suddenly I had half a dozen in places I didn't expect. Also, I couldn't get the sky tree to grow. I figured I might need to move the clouds down, but it took too long and all my clouds vanished. Since I hadn't seen it rain for three or four "days", I figured it wasn't ever going to rain again, so I quit.
Absolutely stunnig :) Really love the concept, clever gameplay!
I really enjoyed this game and I'm still trying to figure out how to complete some of the actions on your to do list. Must...resist...looking at ... walkthrough
"why a dinosaur?"
Why not a dinosaur? :D
Honestly? Because that's what I could manage as a recognizable silhouette in 8x8 pixels. ^^;
Loved this game! Brightened my day a little bit. It's adorable how the fire doesn't hurt/kill you but just gives you a little zap. Nice job on making different loops for day and night, too.
Very nice game. Is getting the victory diamond the end or can you do something with it?
(I managed to plant a tree, collect water and make clouds on my own, but read the guide for the rest)
Interesting little game. Loved the weather and dusk/dawn effects.
destroyed everything and then flew around holding my victory diamond
Just played this game for an hour when I should be playing Diablo 3. Love it - so relaxing and fascinating. Would like if I could create more metal. Maybe if you could do something like this: wood -> dirt -> stone -> metal -> gold.

Lovin' the visuals! The weather effects and day/night elements really add to the experience.
